Extremely disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the products at Target San Marcos. I purchased a laundry basket, and when I got home and started to use it, I noticed it had black grime or mold-like residue inside. It was disgusting—clearly not properly cleaned or stored before being put on shelves. I had to wipe it down multiple times just to feel comfortable using it, and I shouldn’t have to do that with a brand new product.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had quality concerns at this location, but it might be the last. Target needs to seriously step up its product checks and sanitation protocols. If you’re considering buying household items here—especially anything plastic

Can't wait for the HEB to open down the street from Target. This review is just about the grocery store.
Went there thinking I could save some time, instead of driving to HEB. Huge mistake.
The grocery selection is very limited, more like a convenience store just larger.
I went in looking for sauerkraut, something they don't carry. Then I started looking for items to make a good spaghetti sauce, a very limited selection of fresh vegetables.
Finally, went to check out and the self checkout lines were long. Only a small number of cashiers working. I've never done this before, but I left my basket and walked out the door. You vote with your dollars.

I'm a regular here because Im in walking distance and I spend a lot of money here but if I'm going to be harassed and or profiled at the self checkout I can take my business elsewhere.

they had self checkout closed at 2pm and the lines were very long. just go to walmart if ur in san marcos. target is normally better than walmart just not this one

5 stars for the legend of an employee that took less than 5 minutes to handle my return today. 1 star for the team lead who all but questioned my integrity because she couldn’t find the serial numbers on the product and the box, wasting everyone’s time and necessitating a call to Big Target yesterday. Rounding up to 3 stars overall because product selection is decent at this location
