This club is very fun! We have been here a few times. Last night a very drunk boy decided to shake his champagne and spray it all over us after we asked him not to. It got in our eyes nose and was very uncomfortable. My buddies sprayed him back with their drink and Somehow we were the ones to get kicked out because the bouncers were too scared to confront the guy who caused the issue. Our clothes were drenched, night ruined. aggressive wimpy bouncers went for the woman because we are easier to remove than the big frat boy who was the actual issue. Get some real bouncers (not pansy’s) who are scared to do the right thing.

The Worst Bar Experience Ever
Sake is a disaster, and Reighan is the absolute worst. She’s rude, lazy, and clearly hates her job—and it shows. She messed up my order, blamed me for it, and spent more time gossiping and scrolling on her phone than actually working.
Her attitude was disgusting—eye rolls, sarcasm, and zero effort to fix anything. Honestly, I don’t know how this place stays open with staff like her. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

Sake is, without a doubt, one of the worst bars I’ve ever set foot in, and the worker named Reighan is the reason why. If this person is the standard of service here, then this place is doomed.
From the moment I walked in, Reighan’s attitude was horrendous. She made it clear that serving customers is beneath her, acting annoyed and put out by even the simplest requests. I asked for a drink recommendation, and she literally scoffed at me like I’d asked her to solve world hunger.
When my order came out wrong (because apparently listening isn’t part of her skill set), she had the audacity to argue with me instead of just fixing it. She acted like she was doing me a favor by even acknowledging my existence. Her eye rolls, passive-aggressive tone, and complete lack of professionalism made the whole experience unbearable.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, she disappeared for long stretches of time, leaving customers waiting while she gossiped and giggled with coworkers. At one point, I overheard her badmouthing a couple nearby—absolutely disgusting behavior for someone working in hospitality.
Reighan is a disgrace to customer service, and Sake should be ashamed to have her representing their business. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy being disrespected, ignored, and served by someone who clearly couldn’t care less.

I personally had a bad experience with these bartenders at Sake. In particular Reighna.
My friend brought me here for the first time, and we sat at the bar waiting for Reighna to serve us. It wasn’t busy that night. We sat and watched her serve all the guys at the bar, and then new people that came after us. Thats when we realized she was ignoring us. I don’t know if it was because we are girls, but she served every guy in that bar and completely skipped over us again and again. She simply wasn’t going to serve us. We had to go outside and ask security if someone can make us a drink.
In conclusion the service was a 0/10. I’m not sure what children you are hiring here but they should really learn better customer service skills. It really speaks poorly of the establishment.

The Vault will charge you tips you did not authorize on your card. One night I went in I was tipping the bartenders cash but was paying with my card. I was writing CASH on the tip line for this reason. The next day, I got a notification that the amount charged was adjusted because they added a tip themselves. So if you go here just pay cash to avoid this.

Great place to go if you want someone who isn’t paying attention to charge your card a crazy amount just to end up with a hold for the rest of the night.

Boring bar with a terrible layout. The dance floor was only free SoundCloud music nobody wanted to hear.

I recently moved to San Marcos from Tennessee and decided to visit this place just to see what it was like. I was not even on the dance floor, merely enjoying a drink, when, suddenly and without any provocation, someone kicked me, made obscene gestures, and shouted racist remarks at me. I can only assume that I am not welcome here, and therefore, I will never return.

I was just strolling The Square by myself when I saw The Vault and decided to come in and scope the place out. Service was ok. Music was great! The main reason I came in alone was to listen to the music and have drinks, but it’s DEFINITELY a place to go to with friends. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because 1, the buss boy or whatever he was, spilled a shot glass right next to my arm at the bar and didn't even pick it up until I did, and I had to clean up HIS mess. 2, I believe I was overcharged when I purchased a pitcher of liquor (pic below). They should've been $6, but I was charged $10.82. When I gave the bartender $11 in cash, I should've gotten back change, BUT THEY KEPT IT! GHETTO! 3, when it was closing time, I was waiting to use the restroom because there was a drunk girl vomiting in there, and once I finally got to use it, the bar was closed and the Vault staff were obnoxiously banging on all the doors yelling "bar's closed!!!", as if anyone didn't know that... so after rushing myself, I came out and saw all the men just surrounding the restroom waiting for me to leave. One of the bouncers or whatever, was drunk and obnoxiously told me "noOoO" when I asked about exiting through the door by the bathrooms (emergency exit). Lastly, maybe it was because I came alone, but the atmosphere wasn't too welcoming, especially as douchebags and their chicks kept rolling in, bumping into me, and the staff being buddy buddy with some customers. Maybe it was because The Square was dead since it's winter break, but the vibes were OFF. The only thing I liked was the DJ's remixes. Drinks were aight. I've been to many venues and clubs that beat this place in all categories, and they're not in San Marcos. Other than that, I will not be returning to The Vault.

This doubled as a bank, as seen in the (1972)Steve McQueen movie, "The Getaway."

The bartender TOLD me and my friends to get off the dance floor so she could make a TikTok video with her friends. She said they were having a “moment” together and apparently us paying customers were ruining it for her. The guy at the door was so busy talking to friends that kids were slipping in behind him without getting ID’d. The floor was so sticky that I walked out of my flip flops twice. I was there for 10 minutes. Never again. This place is run by actual children.
