Returned a xmas gift and was only refunded the now reduced price of the item..18 bucks. When i came back to show them receipt at 29 bucks they said sorry you should have brought it first. Now theres nothing we can do....Really?...so im out 11 dollars..didnt even offer a store credit. Igorant. Never get my business again.

I walked in on a Monday night, not expecting much activity. The people behind the register didn't say anything. They kind of just glared at me and my fiancée. My fiancee and I got an uncomfortable vibe immediately. Deciding not to pay much attention to it, we shopped around. The store had hangers lying on the floor. It was pretty unbelievable given it was a Monday night. This is when the real problems started and the ultimate reason why im leaving this review. My fiancee was using his asthmatic inhaler. Then out of thin air, an employee runs up to us and spoke to us in a disrespectful voice. They commanded my fiancee to "stop hitting a vape". And we tried explaining to the lady its an inhaler but she wouldn't even bother listening to us. At that point, we were very frustrated so we put our items back and left the store.

I’m always observing store behaviors as a [retail] DM. There were two assistant managers and one sales associate on the floor. I was greeted within 10 seconds, but never approached my entire time in the store.Two ASM’s were behind the cash wrap discussing scheduling while the sales associate was floating around [eventually disappearing off the floor]. I was able to hunt someone down to show me what I was specifically there for. To both ASM’s credit, they were in training as I came to find out through conversation with one of them.[*A piece of advice, or the way I would have handled it in one of my stores, would have been to pause training and attend to people in the store. I was not the only customer at this time.]After purchase went toward the fitting room to get situated. Had to come back to cash wrap to ask for a fitting room [training ASM got it for me].The store was nice and clean. Presentation is a little rough in regard to merchandising. Shirts are stacked so high into the shelves with various designs I had zero interest in looking for a few brands I wanted to look for. Signage seemed appropriate and on point.Regardless of behaviors that may need a bit of retraining, or even just a friendly reminder, both ASM’s were extremely nice. Especially the ASM being trained.I’m not sure if this store is in need of a store manager or just short staffed [regardless that’s none of my business]. But in retail we’ve got to make the most out of what we have every minute. Will I return to this specific Tilly’s while in San Marcos? Unless it’s planned, not likely to go out of my way.

I don't know what to think of this place. It's like the store can't decide which aesthetic it wants to have. There were some cool items, but the large majority was ugly stuff I'd expect from PacSun or Walmart. There were a couple of excellent brands, and the stuff that leaned Asian was all pretty cool, but it seemed like half the shirts just said RCVA. Not interested, thanks.

Tilley’s personnel would not let us in the store because we were not wearing masks due to CDC regulations. CDC regulations have been updated to say that masks WILL NOT prevent airborne infectious diseases and are now being printed on the boxes of masks stating this. Legally this had to be printed on boxes. We had money to spend and were turned away due to false propaganda.

I don't know where the bad employment comes from but this store is well organized with a big variety on the latest trend and the cashiers and etc. Where very kind will come back.

Manager Rebecca was very rude, treated me bad as a customer and didn’t even acknowledge me. I made a report to HR and still haven’t received a call back.

The worker Sam was helping in the back where you try on clothes. He was rude when he asked for my name and was rude when he asked for how many items I had. He also gave me a disgusted face when I was answering him. He had moved to the front whenever we were checking out and said have a nice day to multiple people but did not to me. Also, he was rude to my friend in the same manner.
