What is this, the Derek Zoolander Bank For Kids Who Can't Read Good?!I've been so happy with this bank for 23 years that I was planning on continuing to use them despite moving out of town. Unfortunately, the latest web app they deployed is so bad that I can't manage my money anymore. I need an adult bank, so I'm forced to switch :`(If you're considering this bank, the people are friendly, they offer nice ATM's and stores, and it's generally a fair bank with low fees and lots of services. Unfortunately, if you run a business or do a lot of online banking where you regularly review multiple accounts, manage your money, or use online services, I recommend looking elsewhere... you will have a difficult and frustrating time.Re: Response from the owner below - I've spent significant time speaking with several members and managers about these issues. You have all the information you need and have, thus far, chosen not to take the opportunity to address any of the problems. Take care.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have been a member with UFCU for 28 years. Their service has gone downhill to the point I am withdrawing all of my money and going somewhere else. I can NEVER get anyone on the phone to help me. Last week I sat on hold through my lunch hour and the recording said there were 39 callers ahead of me. Yes 39. They changed their online banking platform yet again and I cannot log in to my account nor access my account or even view my account. If I request a password reset or a username re set I never get an email. I can't get in online, can't get anyone on the phone, I have emailed member services multiple times with no response. I am done. Do NOT bank with this credit union. 28 years ago they were great. Today, not in the slightest! I have to take time off work to go in person now just to get my money out so I can go to another banking institution. This is the worst customer service and banking service ever!

Very disappointed with the outside atms, on almost every visit to this location one atm will accept cash but not checks and the other accepts checks but not cash. Makes banking at this location after-hours a big pain. Especially, when it doesn't say it on the main screen not accepting cash or checks. This location is not a good location to bank at the atms, most times, I will go to the Kyle location as there is better odds that at least one atm will do all the functions.

I was very upset because I drove all the way into San Marcos April 17 and tried to use the machine after hours to get some cash to pay the hired man. It was denied from both my savings and my checking. Not only did I NOT get the cash, but I wasted 40 minutes and the gasoline from that trip.

I've had UFCU for over 10 years now for multiple loans and multiple accounts. They have always blown me away with their customer service. This recent visit was to set up a couple teen checking accounts. Chris was super patient with the multiple requests we had, took care of everything and even did a little educational session for our kids on checking and savings accounts, over drafts and how to balance an account (at our request). He gave them each his card and said he'd be happy to answer any questions in the future. How many people can say that they "love" their bank? I can!

I've been a member of UFCU my entire adult life. I recently moved to San Antonio and San Marcos is the closest branch. I was remodeling my house and had to come in very often. Every single person that helped me was amazing. They were all so friendly, professional, and helpful. They answered my questions and were always just so friendly, like we've known each other for years. I really wish there was a closer branch for the rare occasion I have to go in. However, that's not enough of a reason for me to switch banks. Thanks for all you do!

I moved out of Austin and NO ufcu in my town... I KNEW phone customer service ALWAYS sucked but in-house was great. Monday I am closing my account .

no wonder you have 3 stars .I understand it's policy, recently moved to San Antonio an found no ufcu and wasn't gonna change my bank ,but my debit card was splitting very bad ,they are flimsy and cheap,so I drive from San Antonio to San marcos in TEAFFIC !!! my ID is expired ,I had my renewal paper work an it also has lapsed waiting to get new drivers license in the mail ,to be told they can't help me ,I had everything acct number ,ss#,info was still all the same ,if you can't be their for me when I need you then you don't deserve my business I have half a years wages an been banking with you for 10 years,!!!Monday looking for a new bank !!!

I LOVE the staff here! I’ve been 2-3 times for regular banking services and have had the most wonderful experience every time. Makes it not a pain to get my errands done!
