Y’all I read such horrible reviews and was SO nervous about getting scheduling my passport appointment for processing here. I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED and relieved to receive the most amazing service by Luis. He was so pleasant, friendly, & knowledgeable!! He processed my paperwork and took my photo all in less than 15 minutes. I’d give 10 stars if I could!!

I would like to acknowledge the outstanding service I received from Ashly during my credentialing process. She was professional, efficient, and genuinely cared for my experience. Ashly was quick to respond to any questions I had and worked to make the appointment as quick as possible. I’m very grateful for her help and highly recommend this location for credentialing.

Very rude staff particularly the woman working on 08/16/2025 . I was simply trying to get a shipping label for a package I want to sent out oversees. They kept picking at tiny mistakes I had and then sending me to the back of the line. They were not explaining clearly how to fix it. You really never know what people are going through so treating a human like that is not ok.

I was in a difficult situation and urgently needed a piece of mail containing my new driver’s license before I moved out of the country on July 6. My husband is active duty military, and we were only in Texas for about a week and a half specifically to wait for this important delivery.
I use Informed Delivery and saw that the item was scheduled to arrive on July 3, but it never came. Since July 4 was a holiday, I knew there wouldn’t be any deliveries that day, and I became very concerned that it wouldn’t arrive in time before our departure.
I contacted customer service, and they connected me with TYRELL at the Stagecoach location in San Marcos, Texas. I called him back on Saturday, July 5, and he was incredibly helpful. He took the time to speak with me, gather all the necessary details, and truly went above and beyond to assist me during a very stressful moment.
Thanks to his help, I was able to receive my important piece of mail and driver’s license just in time, before leaving the country. I’m very grateful for his professionalism and support. This guy truly deserves a raise USPS! Thank you, Tyrell!

Horrible customer service on top of being the wrong address. It’s pick up only apparently and they said it’s not on them to update the address lol

I came from out of town to get credentialing done and the woman assisting me was so kind, friendly, and professional! I forgot to get her name, unfortunately. Thank you for helping me out, truly recommend this place! All the workers were also very nice.

Another stellar example of why the postal service should be closed and privatized. This location is incompetent, lazy, inefficient, and just plain awful! I mailed an international package that they charged me over $150.00+ to send and it sat there for 12 days without moving until I complained A SECOND TIME! I called the horrific 800 number after it hadn't moved in 8 days (which is the earliest we're allowed to call by the usps rules) spoke to a woman with a very very strong accent from India who was extremely unhelpful, incompetent and after 27 minutes on the phone with her, all she came up with as a resolution was she would email this post office to contact me and that never happened. On day 12, I called again and a woman I belive was an American, took the information, said there was no evidence of me calling previously and she opened a case. Well, today, the package has finally moved SHOCKING! Unfortunately the package is still in the USA in Florida and isn't going to get to it's final destination in time for when I needed it to be there. The San Marcos post office is a lousy, useless, incompetent collection of individuals who shouldn't be in the service industry. They should all be pulling weeds in a field somewhere where they can't negativly impact people's lives as much as they do.

Wow, what a bad post office! I went there during work hours with my wife and child for a passport appointment (which again, is during normal working hours) and they said that "all 3 passport employees were running late" which then turned into "they are not coming in." Not coming in? They told us to come back early the next day. I don't blame the guys there (they were pretty helpful) but feel bad for the other gal and family that was there that because of employees both not showing up they wasted a whole day. We showed up the next day, and they said "she's running late -- she has a flat tire." Uh-huh, sure.
All that to say, go to the Wimberly post office, get your passport appointment done in 15 minutes, and drop a good review. Hopefully some people get the idea that if they're paid by our money, they ought to work for the people that are paying them. Awful.
