I called the Wells Fargo 1-800 number to ask about getting an appointment for a Notary signature. They said just stop in at any Wells Fargo. I went to the San Marcos Tx Wells Fargo and was told I could wait for the banker. We waited for a while and the banker came up to me after her meeting to say she didn’t have time. I could wait for an hour, but she didn’t know if she would have time today to see me. She didn’t have 1 minute to look at the page to get Notarized. I have been with Wells Fargo for 34 years! I guess that isn’t enough time to take a minute and help a customer. I am just very disappointed in the service provided. I wouldn’t recommend doing any banking at Wells Fargo in San Marcos Tx. A -2 experience!

Where do I begin, every time I come to this location I end up spending longer than an hour here, for simple transactions. It shouldn't take me an hour to stand in line to deposit my money- especially when the atm is broken down at least 75% of the time. I waited an hour and a half before I just decided to go to my car and switch to a different bank over the phone (by the way it only took 40minutes). Don't get me wrong the staff here is lovely, people are nice and friendly, but you're going to need more than 2 bankers to run the show. In addition the building is run down and the only thing holding it together is the brass clock that hangs in the middle. I would like to be optimistic for the sake of the workers, but them and the clock are the soul reasons it hasn't fallen apart yet.

Consistently understaffed. Staff that is on hand is generally friendly, for what it’s worth. Hope management sees this and hires more tellers!

Trying to close 2 accounts. Had an appointment but was told to reschedule because they took a walk in before me and now had no time to see me. I was on time! Last time I was the walk in and they told me to make an appointment because they don’t see walk ins. Incompetent place go elsewhere for your banking needs

Waiting in the drive thru line for almost an hour to get a withdrawal, ridiculous. This is now the reason I will be switching banks, after 11 years.

Bumped to 3 stars for the time being pending resolution on my meeting at the branch today. Hoping I've found some members of the staff that can keep banking functional for me.Wells fargo has disappointed me time and again. I've been using this bank for 15 years and am rarely treated well, ever since Mike Pena got transferred there's been a huge hole in the customer service and nobody who knows my name or can be accessed for my needs or my business. Ms. Van Nostrand was moved from the Wal Mart branch and before they closed that branch Wal Mart (WALMART FOR GOODNESS SAKE) was a whole lot better than Edward Gary branch.Anyhow icy professional staff are about a best case scenario at this point, otherwise they propense towards standoffishness and annoyance that you're there. Money has "not added up" in the drive thru before and the 1800 number is the worst in the entirety of my 1800 experience. I'm currently on hold with them now and they've just got the phone on mute. I'm pretty sure they're waiting on me to hang up. There's no access to an in-store phone line that I'm aware of which would be great, as I've been told you need an appointment to talk to a banker.Please try at least just a TINY bit to be better, WF EG. It would be lovely to have a bank I could trust.

For the love God, can y'all train your staff on how to do their job? I came in today unfortunately. I was making the deposit for my employer, I handed a deposit slip for $158 but gave $160 in cash. I got no change back and the extra was not left in my account. I get it, its $2, that's not the point. This is not the first time that the teller can't figure out that I am to get change back, its not even the 5th time. I wonder how many times a day Grace doesn't give the change back. Where does that money go because it's not in my hands or my account. Its really not that hard but for some reason out of all the Wells Fargo I go to, this is the only one that can't get it together. I can't wait until my employer switches banks because I know 2nd graders with better math skills.

Everytime I come in here there's a line of about 6 people and only one person working.Don't come here in a hurry. They'll make sure to have somebody standing at the front door to greet you though that's a big plus

I have been with Wells Fargo over 30 years and no complaints. When my 2 children was in high school, I open them an account. So Wells Fargo is our family back.

Julianne the manager at Wells Fargo Bank in San Marcos, Texas extremely professional. I couldn’t understand a problem about my debit card the banks means of delivering a lost /stolen card ( digital wallet), which helped extensively in understanding a complex situation. Julianne was extremely kind, empathetic and allowed me to Descalate. She did an amazing job! Five stars and she needs a raise. Julianne defines management!
