Went to go pick up my niece and saw one of the teachers smoking in the parking lot, RIGHT infront of the center. That IS NOT okay.

*PARENTS PLEASE READ FULLY*We pulled our son because his B.F.L.C teacher did not follow the appropriate feeding procedures and gave my son a food that he is not supposed to eat and that he is severely allergic to. It was not only written in his file but B.F.L.C. were always being reminded due to the fact them not following the correct feeding procedures could lead to my sons death if not followed correctly. The day those procedures were not followed, my son was just handing his head down and he was unable to have any strength. His skin was severely blotchy and he didn’t look good. I then asked to speak to the manager. I was told that she had already left for the day. The assistant manger refused to call her when i had requested for her to. I then asked to speak to the owner and was only to be given a refusal. The police were called and as they were pulling up, the manager had returned and not once asked me what was going on about anything that happened to my son. Both managers were yelling and throwing their hands up at the officers demanding me to leave their premises with my son.CITY OF SCHERTZ POLICE NEVER ASKED ABOUT THE SERIOUSNESS OF MY SONS ALLERGIC REACTION BECAUSE THE B.F.L.C. MANAGEMENT WAS SCREAMING AND DEMANDING FOR ME TO LEAVE THE PREMISES WITH MY SON. ALTHOUGH THIS WAS VERY UPSETTING. I DO NOT BLAME THE OFFICERS BECAUSE B.F.L.C. MANAGEMENT HAD SIDETRACKED THE OFFICERS FROM HEARING WHAT HAD TRUELY JUST HAPPENED PRIOR OF MY ARRIVAL. MY ONLY FOCUS WAS ON MY SON AND I KNEW I NEEDED TO TAKE HIM TO HIS DOCTOR ASAP. I RUSHED MY SON TO ABCD PEDIATRICS IN SCHERTZ WHICH WAS ONLY A FEW MINUTES AWAY. WHEN I HAD ARRIVED HIS DOCTOR HAD QUICKLY CHECKED MY SONS VITALS AND YELLED FOR HIS NURSE TO CALL 911 BECAUSE MY SON WAS GETTING CLOSE INTO GOING INTO CARDIAC ARREST. A AMBULANCE ARRIVED AND MY SON WAS RUSHED TO STONE OAK CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AND HE WAS ADMITTED DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE.My wife showed up in the morning and she was able to speak to his teacher from the previous day and teacher told her that he was given regular milk instead of his normal almond milk. When asked why did she do that. She then told my wife that she was working alone most of the day and was overwhelmed with the amount of children she had. She also admitted never looking at his file of what he could or cannot eat. Keep in mind the owner and manager was not able to see the teacher before my wife did the following morning. Now let’s get this correct ? We would pay good and on time money every week for him to be cared for properly and that was completely ignored. It is also written in his file what he is and not suppose to eat. That was totally completely ignored that day and we imagine til this day what if they ate peanuts that day. He would not be here with us because peanuts can kill him within minutes according to his allergy physician. Even though our son doesn’t go there anymore, we’re still scared for the next child that could potentially get hurt or killed under their management. We’re all aware only death or hospitalization could give someone the right to sue the company. What is the the point of having money if our son isn’t no longer here to enjoy life with us. He could have died because of B.F.L.C. failing to follow proper feeding procedures that day. No money could ever replace our son nor anyone else’s.

They really don't even deserve the star I gave them would not recommend this facility for counciling. They went about a situation the wrong way. Did way more harm then they did good. Let's just hope my child and family can recover from the damage they caused us.

Our daughter is so happy every single time I drop her off and pick her up from BFLC. She adores her teachers! The facility is always secure and clean. I have found the staff to be professional and communicative. I appreciate having a safe, fun, and enriching place to leave my baby. I’m sure all parents will agree that it’s hard to trust someone with your child. I have felt confident in her care since day one. The staff love the children and you can tell how much pride they take in their job each time you walk in to BFLC. I could not do my own job without BFLC being part of my village . Thank you for all that you do!

My kids went here for a combined 5 years. The staff was always great, teachers love my kiddos and kiddos loved them. Facility was always clean too! We also never had any incidences outside of normal bumps an bruises and kiddos being kids; learning and developing social skills. Kiddos always came home excited to tell us about their day and what they learned. I would highly recommend BFLC. My kids still talk about how much the loved it and miss their teachers & classmates now that we have moved to elementary.

Pulled my son out from B.F.L.C. because daycare did not follow the appropriate procedures by giving my son foods that he is not supposed to eat and is allergic to. He is allergic to whole milk and peanuts will kill him according to his allergy physician. One day when I had picked him up one evening, his skin was severely blotchy and he was acting irritated. When asked to speak to the manager, manager had left for the day. The girl on duty at the front desk would not call her. Then I asked to speak to the owner and was told the same thing. I had to end up calling the cops and manager showed up and I was given a trespass warning and could not return. My wife showed up in the morning and she was able to speak to his teacher from the previous day and teacher told her that he was given regular milk instead of his normal almond milk. When asked why did she do that. She then told my wife that she was working alone most of the day and was overwhelmed with the amount of children she had. He could of died or been seriously put in the hospital because of B.F.L.C. failing to follow proper feeding procedures that day. No money could ever replace our son, neither no one else's.

Definitely a great place to take your kids. The staff is so amazing and helpful with my little one. He enjoys all of his teachers and they even had a little birthday celebration for him! He has learned so much and continues to grow each day.

The staff had been great with Grandson. He enjoys the friends and things that they do. He has grown a lot since attending and we work on the same items at home. Even during this time they have ensured that the children come first!!!

Brighter Futures Learning Center has been amazing! My children have been attending the center for almost 3 years now! We started out in the crawlers room and have moved up through all of the classrooms. We will be adding a third child in August of 2017 in the infant room, to grow the facility as my older two babies have! My kids love going to school, I love leaving them there in the centers care knowing that they are loved, safe, and learning great things to help them excel in life's journey! The staff, the curriculum, the activities, just everything about this center is wonderful! I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! I trust them everyday with my whole heart to care for my children! You won't be disappointed!

We have been with this learning center since January and we are very happy with the care. Our kids (2 and 3 years old) love coming here. I especially like the curriculum they have set up for each classroom and feel like my kids enjoy learning now. The teachers in the classroom are friendly and seem to really love their jobs and the children they teach. The front desk managers always brighten my day with their smiles and well wishes!
