Today I'm giving you a one star Cato's! If I could give an F- I would do just that. I ordered a pair of shoes three weeks ago for an event happening in a few days. I have called twice to inquire about my shoes that i have already paid for, to have been told that shipping company's were changed. I should have been notified immediately that there was a delay in shipping because of this change. I requested a refund and I was told that I would have to wait until the shoes come in. This makes no sense as I would have to spend more money to go find another pair of shoes elsewhere, instead of using the money they owe me. Not happy with you Cato's

I did not have a 5 star experience when I visited this location last Saturday. Elle greeted me and helped me with some outfits, she also pointed out some great finds in clearance as she began to ring up a customer the other 2 employees ran to the register yelling at her to not touch the register making customers feel very uncomfortable and asking questions. The other employee was told to keep cleaning, & stay away from the front area. I over heard one customer comment perhaps due to the color of her skin, she was made to clean instead of a customer service another asked Elle was she a thief or something...I have shopped at this location, & Elle has always been very friendly & helpful, she has checked me out & never had any problems. This is a big insult to that employee as now she is now being used as the cleaning lady & not to associate with customers. One woman stated she has seen this done on other occasions, and decided to no longer shop at this location, due to the embarrassment of this incident & abuse of this good person and she left and so did I. This was an insult to me as a woman of a different skin tone. The managers was very unprofessional like wearing jeans, purple hair and overalls while Elle is always immaculately dressed how can you justify embarrassing & humiliating employees in front of customers.

I shopped at Cato in Shertz for the first time yesterday, a friend recommended the store to me and I was excited to check it out. The selection is good and the prices are very reasonable. I quickly found several stylish items that I liked. The salesperson that started a dressing room for me, Joyce, was very courteous and very helpful. The store manager, Jeanie, was also friendly. I will definitely continue to shop here in the future and I highly recommend this store to others!

Unfortunately, our Cato store in Schertz is not a pleasant place to shop. I like the clothes and have bought several pieces, but today I walked out of the store without anything because it was a very toxic environment. It has been like this the last several times I have visited. The store employees are (quite loudly for all to hear) constantly complaining about the store management and how things are run or about another employees. It is no longer pleasant to shop there. Today no one asked me if I needed help. The two employees just talked to one another from two different rooms about another employee or manager (not sure which) and how she didn't want to work or how they didn't like how she did things. I wish the employees would have those conversations in private and not subject me as a shopper to them. It makes me feel like I am forced to be in the middle of a family fight I don't want to be in. Not sure I will be returning to this store.

Out of the 2 store associates; One older lady was very rude. Followed me the entire time I was in the store. If I made to two steps she made three.Couldn’t enjoy my shopping experience. However, the cashier that checked me out was very pleasant and professional. But …… the rude lady approached the counter has I asked the person checking me out if they offered military discount and the rude lady rolled hers eyes. Do better Cato with your biased employee before lawsuit it filed.
