This was my first time here, my dog developed a mass on the side of his neck over the weekend. I was able to call them Monday and they fit me in the same day! The staff was extremely friendly, and didn't try to upsell on anything that wasn't needed. They also texted me the next morning to follow up on how my dog was doing. I will definitely be returning to this vet!

I was on the phone with them explaining them my situation in a very calm manner i never raised my voice nor did i feel that i said anything rude. I was explaining to the lady on the phone that I'm looking for somewhere that can help me and my traumatized dog and if they could or had any recommendations. Before i could even finish speaking they hung up on me (we were only on the phone for 40 seconds before she hung up on me). Didn't say bye or anything they just hung up on me with out saying a word. I'm glad that i am by no means having a medical emergency because after that i wouldn't even trust them with my archenemies dog. That to me shows that they could care less about what you and you dog are going through.

I've taken my two dogs here since I moved to san antonio last april and they have received amazing care. My chihuahua had to have a growth removed from his face, they were very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. He is doing much better now. I had to rush my other dog in 2 weeks ago and sadly we had to say goodbye. We were given other options, things were thoroughly explained in a very caring and thoughtful way. They did everything they could for my sweet baby rein I just wish they got to know her longer than just a few months because she was more than amazing. We will continue to bring our family here and I must say thank you for everything. After 5 years living here we are still regular customers here with our two sweet cats, our chihuahua and our new 9 week old corgi puppy Shawn! They did wonderful with him and talked about everything with us. We absolutely love this place and everyone here.

Such a warm and welcoming staff, from the minute you step in the front door to visiting with the Vet Tech and then the Doctor. They are so good and genuine with my fur babies. I have also never had a problem getting my animals scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. They always try to accommodate me, and that is so appreciated!!!! I highly recommend Friendship!!!!!

I have been taking my dogs here for a couple of years. They are super friendly, very professional! I haven't had any bad experiences thus far. Yesterday, I had to take one of them in for a slight emergency. He's feeling much better today. I just appreciate how quickly they saw us and the change in my dog. It really had me worried, so having peace of mind come so quickly is a blessing. I also appreciate the texts they send afterwards to check in on your dogs after every appointment(: They are my go-to guys. I hate having to go anywhere else.

The team here has been phenomenal for our rescues! They squeezed us in at the very last minute when we brought them home without any notice, thoroughly and patiently examined each doggo, got us setup with treatment for our problem child and scheduled us for close followup for the conditions they were concerned about. We had an ER visit one night in that first week, being new and nervous, and the office called us the next day to check in!! Each visit is so informative. They answer all of our questions and take time to explain everything in the plan. Cannot recommend this team enough!!

I had an excellent experience at this vet clinic. I called for a same-day appointment, and the lady on the phone was incredibly helpful and kind. She managed to schedule us in for the same day, and her sincerity in the conversation was much appreciated. She took the time to ask about the issue and noted it for the appointment. My husband took our dog to the clinic, and the paperwork process was smooth. The staff checked our dog thoroughly and diagnosed an ear infection. They provided medication and ear drops for the next week. The doctor was kind, and the entire staff was fantastic. The facility was clean, and their hours were convenient. The clinic's location was easily accessible from the road and freeway. What stood out the most was that our dog warmed up to the vet and staff, making it an all-around great experience. Definitely will come here again.

Wonderfully attentive and compassionate staff! Really went out of their way to make my dog comfortable and got to know him! He's usually a pup that needs to be muzzled at the doctor but all the good vibes must've put him at ease!

Dr. Heron was the only vet that diagnosed our dog with pancreatitis after 3 years with other vets. She put her on a diet that brought her test results back to normal, which were very abnormal, indicating pancreatitis. Joan always tries to get us into the clinic, as she did for my dog's allergies with a same day appointment. Dr. Heron saw our little dog that day. She suggests treatment plans, allows discussion and even if I feel something more is necessary, she listens, considers it, and has added my requested treatment. She answers emails and explains everything. Once, when she was gone, another doctor sent us to Blue Pearl because she thought they needed to handle her condition. Then, she wrote in my dog's record that we, the owners, would rather leave and go to Blue Pearl. Again, when I asked for refills of a probiotic, I was told to get it from Blue Pearl, who treated her, even though Blue Pearl said your vet should follow-up and give her the prescription. When I told them Friendship wouldn't do it, Blue Pearl gave us a refill. Dr. Heron apologized that she wasn't there, and had been following Sookie carefully. I love Dr. Heron and all Sookie's friends at Friendship, not just Joan, but all the techs and assistants that are so wonderful and understanding. However, on December 22, 2021, Sookie had to see Dr. Ocana for diarrhea. I had asked for the notes to be emailed, and I was surprised that the vet wrote her diarrhea had resolved when I told her I brought her in because she still had diarrhea. Then another page said she still had diarrhea, because during the visit, she went out and the Dr. asked if she had diarrhea, and I said yes. My dog had gotten hold of a Turkey Leg that the neighbors threw in my yard, apparently at Thanksgiving, but I only found her gnawing on it December 2021. She is an indoor dog who goes in the yard to enjoy the weather. The vet did a fecal and said, "There's a little bacteria." She gave us Clavamox because I asked for it and that is what they usually give for the bacteria that causes HGE. But she didn't explain the two bacteria were at 75% and 25%, 2+ Clostrid. I sent an email after they emailed her results, and Benita called back Christmas Eve from the desk. Benita said she was given Clavamox for the diarrhea, but she wasn't treated for the bacteria and parasites in the stool sample. I was alarmed! She said the Technician would call back to see if my dog needed any other medication. I asked for the doctor to call back. No one called back, not even the Technician. When I called back, the clinic was closed. On Christmas Day, I found an email, without a signature that Clavamox will help with the bacteria. A fecal should have been taken at the Wellness exam, and we would have known about the bacteria in her stool earlier, as she had been vomiting. During the Wellness Exam, the Technician was very kind to hold and pet Sookie, as she is a rescue and still scared in the vet's office. Even though she has been with us since she was seven (7), and she is now 14. Dr. Ocana didn't go over the fecal test results in detail at her appointment. I need a doctor to specifically explain and show the results while I am there at the clinic. Especially because it said she had parasite Giardia, then there was a "correction" at the bottom, stating she didn't have any Giardia cysts. I had asked for the written prescription refill for Propectalin ( a pro-biotic) by email without response. The Doctor called after Christmas and asked about Sookie, even offering to see her again if necessary. That was a kind gesture. Dr. Ocana also called New Year's Eve to say the prescription for Propectalin was ready. Thank you. Sookie had a Well-ness Exam April 2023 with Dr. Ocana, and her bloodwork showed elevated CPL, pancreatitis flare, and she noticed a heart murmur. She wrote I would decide on a scan, but I had asked for one of her heart and organs, as she has had Gall Bladder sludge a few years and IBS/Pancreatitis flares. The travelling vet did the
