We have worked with coach Sam and coach Paige this year on level 1, 2 and 3 tumbling skills. Our athlete has improved exponentially and now has sound fundamentals. She is using these building blocks to grow her level 2 and 3 skill set. I appreciate that all of the coaches strive for the SAME technique, so it’s not confusing going from privates, to tumbling class to all star practice. They push athletes hard (but not too hard) while also build up their confidence in their abilities and technique. Five stars, worth the 45 min drive, highly recommend.

Our experience over the past nearly 3 years has been nothing but positive with Stars Vipers. The coaches are excellent with athletes of all ages and abilities and I appreciate what great role models their are as well. While this is a large gym, the owners are very involved and know the athletes individually which I truly appreciate as a parent. I know my daughters best interests are always in mind. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a well run cheer and tumble gym!

Extremely positive program!I have been so happy for both of my girls to be part of this program. We were worried with the move as the my girls had been part of another program for years. Despite them being the, "new athletes" they were welcomed by athletes, coaches, and owners with open arms. It's so nice when you walk in and they call your child by their name. They truly know their athletes and families. The coaches are professional and using the must up to date coaching techniques. My girls have grown so much in a short amount of time. This is the place to be if you're looking for a program for your children.

Stars Vipers makes it clear that parents are NOT WELCOME AT ALL. Parents feel unwelcome even using the restroom. All practices are "Closed," but it is soo much more than that. We aren't talked to about how our child is doing, we aren't ever greeted by any smiling coaches, they all seem so unhappy and downright rude. The truth is this gym just doesn't want to deal with parents at all. They don't want us in the building at all and even bring the kids outside the doors after practice. Heaven forbid you walk in and see your child. They state they have reasons for closed practice, but it's clear to everyone that Stars Vipers doesn't like parents, just our money. A gross way to run a gym. I wish we'd known before investing s much money and time.

My daughter has been at the gym since she was 6 on Show Team to now 17 years old. As parents we have always loved the SV family environment that is created from the owners to the coaches. Making Stars our daughters home away from home has been the very best life skill decision we’ve made as parents.

My 6 year old daughter had her trial foundations class from 6-7p this evening, she was soooo excited to try her first tumbling class ever. Unfortunately, the Hispanic male coach in bright orange shorts was anything but friendly/accommodating to her. She left the class in tears and beyond heartbroken. He told me he “had to slow the class down to help her” and “he could tell she was new” basically he implied to me that he did not want someone like her slowing his class down. Obviously, we will take his advice and not come back.

This is a very positive environment for any level of competitive cheer. My daughter has been cheering for them for a few years now and it has helped her confidence and skills exponentially.

We took our daughter for a trial class and it was horrible. They just threw her in there. No one had informed the coaches she was new. Everyone started doing the class and my daughter just stood there until someone finally helped her. By this time she was overstimulated and began to cry. I wish they had better communication with one another and more individual help, especially for newbies. I was super upset because I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place and I know their athletes are elite. My daughter was so so excited to try it here. But their environment was just not okay for my daughter.

An 8th grader, my daughter hadn’t practiced any tumbling since COVID in 2020 and wanted to get back into the gym. We found Stars Vipers thanks to several recommendations from other parents and friends. On our first visit, she was assessed by one of their team to determine her level of skill and soon was ready to start practicing. We watched their practice for the hour and marveled at the facilities, level of attention by the instructors, and friendliness of the staff. We signed her up for some group and private instruction and look forward to the positive results!

What a professional and wonderful environment! I continue to be impressed in our 3rd with the training techniques and professionalism throughout this gym from the athletes to the owners and everyone in between that makes Stars Vipers the best gym in San Antonio! This is a wonderful family environment and we are proud to be members of the Stars Vipers family.

Talk about a gym that really is supportive of their athletes. Yes, this is a competitive cheer gym and they plan to win. However, they are very supportive of all the athletes. Push the kids to do their best, believe in themselves, support one another and most of all, help them to grow to be strong, self assured young adults. Atmosphere is very professional.
