Very quaint grocery store with so much selection. Quick in and out. Will use them when I don't need a lot of groceries or for specialty items.

Arlan's is a time capsule. It brings back memories of small town grocery stores before commercial ones took over the world. They have a good selection of fresh produce and meat. They also have a pretty crafty (lots of good craft beer options) in their beer selection. The place is never packed like HEB, so it serves as an excellent shopping spot when I don't feel like hustling through a crowd or around a massive store. The prices are good too. If you live in Schertz and want w convenient spot to get groceries without being over charged for the convenience this is the place to go.

Arlan's is a great little store. Their produce is usually bountiful and fresh and I can count on them to have quality zucchini when HEB's is looking a little substandard. They also have Faygo pop in several flavors, which, for us Michiganders, is a real treat. Most things are a little more expensive than HEB, but you're paying for convenience of a short walk from the easily-accessible parking lot as well as short lines at the check-out. Arlan's selection of Hispanic products is impressive as well, including bakery items. I love walking up and down the aisles just to see what they have in stock each week. They do have an impressive selection of beer and wine as well as a whole wall of frozen food/ice cream. The meat department also full of unique products. I generally wouldn't do my weekly shopping there, but it's great to have nearby when you just need to pick up one thing, some adult beverages, or seasonal fruits and veggies.

Today was my first GREAT experience here!! Most of the time the cashiers never talk to you but today we had a great cashier who was very down to earth! Our max limit was $100 and as the total came up this wonderful cashier worked with me and totally made the trip easy! I didn't feel judged like I do at Walmart while shopping for food. I didn't even think to get her name or look for her name tag (ugh) but she was so nice and not judging me at all. Unlike Walmart cashiers!

In general this is a decent place to grab a few things. Not great if you need to do a full on grocery trip. The pricing is considerably more than other stores. Sales are decent.

I am just glad that Arlan's Market is here and available; and provides most items that we need at the last minute. Plus like to support the local small owned business stores. Thank you Arlan's Market for being here!
