I am so pleased with the help I’ve received at Westridge. I have a dog that has been seen by numerous vets and Dr F has been so helpful, understanding, compassionate, patient and has spent SO much time going over my dogs case on his first visit. I feel very heard and confident in the care here. I would highly recommend!

Great friendly staff. They are in a temporary building behind their regular office due to some damage to the building. However, they are doing a great job still taking care of your fur babies. Still the same great service.

Dr Castaneda is wonderful. She was very thorough and caring. Took about 30 minutes talking me through some options to best manage my dog’s health concerns. The techs also seem awesome! So glad I found this practice!

We have been bringing our dogs to Westridge for years and I couldn't imagine having a better team of veterinarians! The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciate that their goal is to help your pet in a way that aligns with your financial situation. They don't try and nickel and dime you for every little thing. I trust Westridge completely!Don't hesitate to bring your furry family members to Westridge. They are truly amazing!

The assistant and vet were incredible. Our dog is a rescue from an abusive situation. They were patient and gentle. Our dog left happy and so did we!!

Alyssa and Lauren are the most rude customer service people at Westridge. We love the vets, and everyone else here. We have paid thousands of dollars to this facility, and Alyssa said we were an inconvenience. Alyssa rolled her eyes, huffed and puffed, did not say hi, made rude faces, did not ask me anything about how I wanted to check out and faced the opposite way with her back to me 80% of the time I was checking out. She did not show me my invoice and just brought the credit card machine over and shoved it in my face. She would not look at any notes to see how my dogs stay was, she would not answer any questions, and literally held out the credit card machine, even though I was not paying with a credit card, and stood there for several minutes taking deep sighs. When I said I wanted to use care credit she rolled her eyes. Usually they allow me to see my dogs upon check out, but Alyssa continued to scream at the girl to keep our dogs behind the door. For years, all of the techs bring the dogs out, and I pay and we are on our way. Literally the worst customer service we’ve had here ever. I would not recommend. And we intend to find somewhere else to go.

I started taking my senior miniature Schnauzer (Schatzi) to Westridge Pet Hospital after another vet clinic refused to treat her, unless I updated her (yearly) rabies vaccination. When she was 5 years old, she had experienced seizures following her yearly rabies vaccination. That vet claimed it wasn’t the rabies vaccination that caused them, although I KNEW in my heart of hearts it WAS! That clinic eventually hired a NEW VET (that had recently graduated from A&M) and I overheard her tell someone about the “RABIES TITER”, a blood test that measures the amount of rabies vaccine in their system! So I had her test Schatzi, and OMG! She had SEVEN TIMES the amount of rabies vaccine in her system that is normally required! So, I continued to see that new vet and get the Titer (test) every year until that young vet suddenly LEFT that clinic a few years later! The older vet (who owned the clinic) said “We don’t offer the “rabies titer”, you’ll have to go somewhere else for that.” ?That’s when I found Westridge Pet Hospital and Wellness Center AND Dr. Castenada! I told her my situation and luckily they DO the “Rabies Titer” (test). Schatzi NEVER needed another rabies vaccination the REST of her LIFE! We finally had to put her down recently, at the age of 15, due to congestive heart failure. That experience, although VERY SAD, was SO BEAUTFUL! Schatzi seemed like she was ENJOYING all the attention! They had told me to bring her favorite things, so I brought her bed, and her favorite toy, and then the vet tech gave me HERSHEY’S KISSES to feed her! Schatzi thought she had died and gone to Heaven! (almost, but not yet!) After spending all the time we needed to say goodbye to her, we “buzzed” Dr. Castenada and she and the vet tech came back in. Then, it was literally like Schatzi closed her eyes and went to sleep in her comfy bed, with her favorite toy right beside her. I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful ending to my sweet companion’s life of FIFTEEN years. Thank you Dr. Castaneda, for keeping her alive and healthy for SO LONG! ?

The doctors and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They are absolutely amazing with my four-legged baby and have helped us with our aging pets in the past. They truly care about you and your pet. We won't trust anyone else with our babies

They love my animals and treat them so well. I strayed away due to distance but I came running back as soon as I could.

I'm so happy that I came to Westridge Pet Hospital. Everyone from the receptionist, technicians, and veterinarians were polite and professional. Another thing that I noticed was that Ace was calm and did not show a sign of being nervous. Other places that we've visited had his heart racing. I know that we found the right place because Ace approves of it. Big Thanks to the Westridge Staff!!

Westridge has been our place to go for our fur babies. The staff are very professional and make you feel welcome for your pet needs. They are very patient when our pups get a bit nervous and explain everything they are doing or recommend. Best place to go if you have fur babies!

Extraordinarily high level of expertise required of every Vet and Tech. They have been our primary pet doctors for nearly ten years.

The staff at Westridge earned my dogs Healthcare needs salt enough by their handling of my previous dog (Molly) needing end of life care. When a person cares enough about the animals to sit and continue to give them love after the animal has passed, you feel their pain and passion. That passion is what should be exhibited. I can not stress enough how amazingly loving, friendly and funny everyone has been and continues to be at Westridge. My puppy GSD "Deranka" (love you guys for this btw) loves visiting. She will continue to be seen by Westridge.
