“I was a patient there from Sep-Dec 2021. My experience was overall good, with a couple of negative notes. One day after I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was told that my PT was busy assessing a new patient and I'd be seen by the Assistant PT. This would not have been a problem except that the assistant was completely unfamiliar with my case and just kept asking ME what I wanted to do next. I essentially ran through the same exercises I was already doing twice daily at home--what a waste of my time & my insurance company's money!After 3 months I relocated out of the area and started seeing a new PT who had an entirely different approach... much more aggressively hands on, and I was achieving better results, even though I had dropped to doing home exercises only 1x per day. I mentioned to him that I wished my former PT had done more physical manipulation, but suggested that it may not have been appropriate so soon after my injury. He disagreed, saying that had I been his patient from the beginning he would have done it from the first session. I guess it's just a different approach to PT that either SFF&R doesn't do at all, or that my PT didn't feel was appropriate for me during the time I was a patient.Anyway, they're really nice, competent people in a clean facility, and as a bonus, PT patients get free use of the gym & heated pool!”
