This was the absolute best dollar generals I have ever been to hands down. The customer service was outstanding, the store was the cleanest I’ve ever seen a DG be before. All in all this was an amazing trip, and we’re talking about Dollar General people.

This store has a very high turnover rate. All too often we see new faces and those new people don't know the community or alot of our shopping preferences. Recently, they installed a self checkout station which I refuse to use. It is faster to drive to Kaufman or Kemp now that they have the self checkout. We've stopped going there because it always takes forever to get in and out. It seems their greed is cutting into local jobs, and now they are just eyesore instead of a time saver. Too bad, they had a good thing and messed it up. We won't shop there anymore. Self-Checkout=waste of time, Inventory=always low, Customer Service = no one around so that's a big ZERO. Bathrooms are locked, Handicap parking has no space to get in and out, ...and they often let the grass grow far too tall. A community eyesore that reminds us all of why we moved to the country in the first place. Tear it down, and build one in town where it belongs.
