“First time here wont be the last.I am freaked out about meat glue and lab grown meat and the man behind the counter assured me they dont play that nonsense there. We got 3lbs ground for a steal, sausage that was THE BEST we have ever had, and the most delicious boudin we have had in a long time!! Even though there are tons of cool decor around it all seemed to be dust free. I cant tell you as a new meat eater how happy I am to have found this spot! Stay out the the grocery store for your meats and come check this gem out! They apparently have weekly specials as well!Make this your new place!!”

“We have been going here for a few years now. They are very friendly and helpful. We have tried many before finding this little gem. They have quite the selection. We like the marinated selections they offer .The only market around that could actually slice a meat for fondue for our get togethers.Thank you Stone Cold for the quality you offer from the local farmer/ranchers.”

“I was going to lunch at Savannah Cafe and smelled the smoky smells from The Chopping Block and had to check it out. I was definitely impressed! They've got a great selection of meats, and a lot of special items. I got a boudin stuffed pork chop, and it was huge and tasty! They also carry Bellville Meat Market sausage! It's nice to know I can get that so close to home instead of making the trek to Bellville.”

“My new favorite place! I was wanting to make Cochinita Pibil but couldn’t find all the ingredients until visiting Oaxaca Meat Market. They had it all and a nice restaurant right inside! And I’m talking about the real deal. The seasoning on the meats was just incredible. The charro beans were so good. Service was fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a bustling joint! That tells me it’s a good place to be. I’ll be frequenting this place much more often!”

“Excellent place to get meat and pre seasoned meats. They have meals ready to go but you have to pay first... Carne asada had some very fatty/chewy pieces that I wish they cleared out but it was still delicious!!”

“They have the best barbacoa in the area. When you buy the barbacoa, you get a bag of salsa to come with. The meat isn't overly seasoned, and it's fresh. The guy in the back of the meat market had great customer service although I could speak barley any Spanish he understood what and how much I wanted.I feel for the price you get good amount of meat.Definitely check this place out, it's worth the stop. And in the photo with the box open we already made 8 tacos so a good amount of meat was taken out.”
