Joining Carefree Boat Club was one of the best decisions we've made. When you factor in the costs of boat ownership – the slip fees, insurance, maintenance, and repairs – the club is an incredible value. The variety of boats and the access to other locations are just icing on the cake. If you're on the fence, I highly encourage you to schedule a tour. You won't regret it!

Me and my family are members of Carefree Boat Club in Lake Travis and we visited Carefree Boat Club Clear Lake last week. The new owners, Sam & Carmen, are great and the clubhouse is awesome! They also had life jackets available for our kids to use while on the boat. It was so easy to get on the water and the boat was in great shape. We will definitely come back every time we come into town to visit family!

They changed ownership and closed the lake Conroe location. They cancelled my membership and never told me anything. I had signed a 3 year contract and paid a hefty deposit and used the membership for nine months out of the 3 years before all this happened. Now I cannot get a hold of anyone and of course they kept my deposit. At a minimum they should have prorated my membership and returned some deposit money back. I wish I could give them zero stars but at least I can post this so people can stay far away from them. When I spoke to Rick I was told there were multiple members that like myself that the dues were stopped and that there was nothing else he could do. I’ve sense tried to contact them again and have had no luck. Bottom line is I have a contract that was not honored and nobody cared to at a minimum make us whole.

Huge Kudos to the Great folks at Carefree in Kemah !! we had a blast on the Crest Pontoon. We took a large group of 6 adults and 2 kiddos and they outfitted us with the lily pad and tube and all the fixins for a relaxing yet exhilarating day out on the water. The vessel handled the water nicely and was powerful enough to support multiple adults in the water while TOWING dual adults on the tube.... so much fun that they took a few spills from the powerful speed of the engine. Overall a great experience and made memories to last a lifetime. The staff is so attentive to detail and accommodated us in every way. We had full use of the shower facilities as we had plans to attend a sports venue after leaving the water and we left dressed for our evening event with all we needed due to their facilities having ALL we needed. We also left forgot an item and left it behind , we contacted them (later that evening) and they immediately secured it and held it for us. Its the little things with hospitality that go such a long way. Truly Extremely satisfied with my membership with Carefree Boat club.

Having owned boats most of our lives, we love how easy it is to get out on the water. There is no maintenance, slip fees, insurance or other to worry about and the cost is considerably less. And best of all Rick and his team are great, always there and keep the boats impeccably clean and running well. We love having a boat waiting for us and ready to go! Won't ever own a boat again! Thank you Carefree!!🛥️

Awesome location with friendly and knowledgeable dock staff. We love using Carefree to explore new waterways when traveling. This location had the nicest SeaFox I've ever been on with a 300hp engine.

New member but so far exceeding all expectations. The guys at the dock even go as far as helping bring my gear to the dock while I'm getting the kids in their car seats. First class operation.
