Castaway Lodge provides top notch hunting and fishing trips, creating a lifetime of memories. Guests consistently report awesome and amazing experiences, feeling treated like family from arrival to departure with unbelievable hospitality. The guides know the area like the back of their hand, are very knowledgeable, and go to great lengths and above and beyond to ensure a successful hunt or fishing trip, putting guests on the ducks and fish effortlessly. Many parties limit out early or leave with an ice chest full. The lodge itself offers clean rooms and really nice common areas for relaxing after a day outdoors. The food receives high praise, described as some of the best, with a friendly staff that keeps guests well fed. It is a place for great times with great people, filled with lots of laughs. Guests highly recommend the outfit and repeatedly state they will definitely be back.
A buddy of mine and me go bird hunting every year. We usually hunt duck, geese, and/or crane. Castaway Lodge was one of, if not, the best hunt. We limited out so early one day that we could only fish the rest of the day. We even slayed the fish! Great time with great people and food! Highly recommend, and we will be back!

Can’t say enough about this place! Unbelievable hospitality and hunting! Our guide Braden was the best! He went over and above for us. Lots of laughs and great time by all. They really know how to make a good time great! Can’t wait till next year.

This is the second year our company has fished with this outfit. No complaints. Great food and clean rooms. Really nice common areas in each building. We would all meet up after a day of fishing and play cards, watch football, and have a few drinks. Staff is always friendly. We look forward to returning next year again.... read full comment
