Both the junk removal team and home moving team are made of great people who work efficiently and really make the effort to care about how best to handle your belongings. I intend to keep using their services for all moving assistance.

The crew was fast and efficient. When they arrived, they introduced themselves and then prepared the house for the move.

I was able to schedule an internal move quickly and easily. The movers showed up on time and were polite and professional. The only thing I would recommend is that you supervise them at all times, and do not let them into rooms where you are not able to observe what they are doing.

The movers were great. They got here early. Worked fast, very fast and efficiently. They did a great job and everything moved was a perfect as they received it.

The entire experience was great. Most important were the two young men doing the move. Friendly, polite, knowledgeable, caring and hard working. The office staff were also great to work with. Id definitely recommend Two Men And a Truck to anyone planning a move!

My wife and I trusted Two men to move our studio apartment and it was an awful experience. The crew showed up smelling like weed, were not handling our furniture with care and showed no respect towards my wife and I. We were sold on the competitive price they offered but at the end of the day I truly wish I would have payed a little more for a better service.

ETA: After I posted my original review, the owner called to apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication about the quote. He then sent his most experienced crew out to get the couch that the other crew couldn't remove, and they also removed a ping pong table that I had forgotten to put on my original list. Would recommend with some reservations. Original review: Requested junk removal of 6-8 pieces of furniture. I was told over the phone that the haulers would give me a quote and then I could say yes or no and if yes, they would take the junk immediately. The guy who came looked at my stuff and said it might be $675 if it filled up their trailer, but he couldn't be sure until they actually got everything in it. That's not a "quote," that's a rough estimate. Because of a tight time schedule, I reluctantly said yes. Fortunately the final amount was $435, but I had to agree to pay whatever it cost before they would haul anything. Also they were unable to get a couch upstairs from my basement although somehow it was brought down there in one piece 10+ years ago.

Used a two-man crew to move out of a storage unit and into a new house. Movers were highly professional, careful, and communicative throughout the entire process. Best moving company I have ever used.

When you hire these movers, just know you'll have a lot of additional moving to do. Forgotten items at place of origin - pieces of furniture, shelves, etc. Missed everything in the basement. Storage unit move out: left expensive bike in the hallway- luckily storage manager called us and told us they left it. Took them way too long to move things. Left their drinks and cups (trash) at our origin and destination. Awesome!Missing components of the shelves and bookcases. I have nothing positive to say.

We gave our trust to two men and a truck with our move and they have DISAPPOINTED US THOROUGHLY.Their movers were reckless with our belongings. They dropped our belongings multiple times while moving down a ramp, and forced metal parts on concrete, which caused severe scratches. The most devastating damage was to our couch, which was carefully wrapped and worth over two thousand dollars. The driver of the crew tried to move it by himself off the ramp. The couch flew off and its fabric was ripped open. When we reached out about the damage, they were in FULL DENIAL and tried to put the blame on other companies. WE WERE THERE AND SAW IT HAPPEN. We also showed them evidence that the couch was clearly damaged by the crew, but they still shamelessly came back with nonsensical and illogical excuses. Just to name one: they said the couch could have been damaged by a cat?? before it was wrapped?? We have never even had a cat and the wrap was clearly ripped along with the fabric. Two Men and A Truck is nothing near professional, treats their customers with absolutely no respect, and does not take even slight responsibility for their mistake. MOVERS WHO CARE? WHAT A JOKE. We genuinely hope no one has to go through this like us.

Do not use this company at all, especially if you are lgbtq in St. Louis. When we began our arrangement to use Two Men, we were told we would be contacted a half an hour prior to the arrival of our movers. We waited until past 2:30, half of our estimated window of 1-5pm, to reach out to the office. They then told us the movers were on the way, and it would be a half an hour, calling us back less than a minute to tell me they would be 30-45 minutes as they were stopping for a bite to eat, which was totally fine, and that they would contact me when the truck would be en route. What was not OK was that I had to call back again at 3:45pm to inquire about the status of the movers, who did not arrive until some time after 4pm. When the truck pulled up, I was not contacted. I was not told the truck had arrived, and had to go outside where the movers were sitting. No one had called me and no attempt was made. Due to issues beyond our control of a public street, the truck could not park directly on on our street owing to a fire hydrant and a lack of clearance for the truck's ramp. They were summarily sideswiped by a passing truck, damaging the truck's mirror and we were forced to wait for the replacement truck. They drove around the block for what seemed like a half an hour, trying to park on a side street, and then coming to pre-wrap our items while the second truck was arriving. This is where another issue arose. While I understand disassembling items may not fall into the purview of our movers job, it could have been conveyed far better than essentially telling us in so many words we would be responsible for undoing the bed's base supports and unscrewing the mirror from a vanity.Once everything was loaded up, they asked for our address, which I found odd because it should have been on the order. I was also given a snarky attitude from the team when asked about the layout of where our house was in relation to parking. (The exact words were "where we're going doesn't have a layout like this, does it?") I understand they may have been frustrated by the earlier incident from the first truck but it was completely unnecessary and unproductive to the job at hand.Arriving at the house, once again, I was not contacted by the team to let us know they had arrived. From our living room window we saw the truck parked, and were pointed at to indicate to move one of our cars so the truck could park. What frustrated me more than anything from this experience was the complete lack of clear communication (or any) from this team. It was absolutely unacceptable. It's extremely disrespectful and disappointing that I could not be spoken to clearly like a customer. Being pointed at, with an angry looking face, when I could have been talked to, before I went out and was told my car I needed to be moved, would make anyone feel bad. The unprofessional, disrespectful behavior from these movers made me feel like I was not being heard at all, or even valued. While I also can forgive issues due to the heat on that day, the fact I laid out what was going to what room upon the truck's parking, and was forced to repeat myself no less than three times showed me that they did not care about our move or care to listen to us and wanted to be done. When loading our washer/dryer in, we were told by the team that they may not fit down into the basement, due to the 90-degree turn in our basement stairs, despite a washer and dryer hookup readily available. The movers finally finished close to 7:15, after two and a half hours. They did not start the clock for us until 4:46pm when the loading began on the second truck. And while I appreciate that - it does not make up for this entire process.I feel overcharged for the work performed and I am severely disappointed. I know that this world, this state and city are diverse, and that we, my wife and I, a lesbian couple, are not everyone's cup of tea. But we felt judged, we felt stares towards us, and we felt like the two movers just did not see us as customers, or even human bein

My two day move was effortless! The young men are very professional, detailed oriented, and exceptionally hard working. Their prices are better than most movers. I wish I would have been able to tip more. In these under times, it is a pleasure to work with a team that supported me 100%. I had zero problems or issues. Top notch company!
