In November 2023 I used my food stamp card in a Department store located at Super 1 Food address 125 Hall Road seagoville, TX. The cashier Amber, white blonde lady said; “Just a minute, I need to check this with the manager.” She walked off and I think she took a cellphone picture of the front and back of the card behind a closed door. She came back and said; “Sorry, everything's OK.” and finished checking out. An hr later my food stamp which was having on account $ 200 was stolen I went to another store at Walmart which my card was having zero amount of the food stamp account. I've called and reported to the Texas health & human resources. I was told that my food stamp amount was stolen from super 1 food store in seagoville. Upon verification of the food stamp charges on the card the all amount was stolen at the same day at the same store from the same cashier Amber. The Texas and human resources said there were made a charge on the card from the store I mentioned above. Actually I wouldn't recommend this store and this particular cashier with her name Amber that steals all complete food stamps benefits from poor people with low income that can barely afford food. You've been warned. Stay on Alert whenever you shop at super 1 food store in seagoville. Beware from the cashier Amber.

Need cashiers. One elderly lady working as a cashier that is extremely slow, but she gets her job done. Management must not be from the area. They will continue to lose business at the rate they are going. Hopefully more shopping areas come to the area without self checkout.

They usually have what they offer in stock meaning few none to few empty shelves. The Super 1 family have been great help and are nice folk.

An employee named Nicole made my day much better. She was so sweet and caring. She totally went above and beyond to suggest an item I may want to try. Went as far as looking on her phone to find the item. Can't express enough thanks for her caring and her kind words. Made an old woman's day.

Ms Nicole and Candace helped me this morning when I called asking about baby formula. As a tired mom, they exceeded my expectations of customer service!!! Wow! They were so kind and patient so early in the morning and I could hear that the store was busy. Thank you ladies!

My go to place when I'm just making a quick trip... Besides their drinks and meat deals, they are pretty pricey in my opinion and some of the employees that are up front are pretty questionable ??

Let’s face it, Seagoville isn’t the premier spot for decent grocery offerings, but you’ll find some pleasant surprises here at Super 1.Side note — the Super 1 I grew up with (Addison-Carrollton border in the early 2000s) was much more like WinCo, with endlessly tall shelves and products shoved into giant cardboard displays. Exciting markdowns galore! Now, it seems to be Brookshire’s hood counterpart. In any case, the produce (except that one brand of tired strawberries) is nicely varied, and the quality shows. Excellent occasional deals on meats - just keep an eye out for that weekly mailer. I just snagged roughly 14 lbs of bone-in chicken at 97 cents/lb.The perpetual hiccup at this location is at the register. No matter what, there’s a clog here — whether it’s an employee moving at 0.5X speed or other customers forgetting their credit card and stalling the line. It’s always something. Seriously.

Worked here for two and a half years. Loved it until management changes. New management is under par and clearly has issues as far as preferred employees. Prices are getting higher here and when it was first opened was supposed to be comparable to Walmart prices, it is far from Walmart prices. Meat market barely has a selection of meats to choose from for their meal deal items which makes it more difficult on people with budgets. Their holiday sales are lovely though. I do hope it gets better when the new store opens.

I haven't been to this store in years. It was nice, clean, the people were friendly, and the prices were pretty good when I went back today. 9/5/23
