I came in around 3 PM on December 22 because my truck’s rear brakes were going bad and had started screeching, making it unsafe to drive. They quickly evaluated the issue and gave me a quote that was almost unbelievable (another shop quoted me nearly double). After confirming the price included both rear brakes and rotors, I approved the work. Even though they close at 5 PM, they still got everything done and had me back on the road by about 5:30 PM. Fast, honest, and affordable service. This will definitely be my go-to place for any future repairs or maintenance.

Universal did a outstanding job on my 2009 Chevy suburban on replacing de rear main seal and other stuff gave me warranty on everything thank you guys.

I called yesterday and spoke to Paul. He listened to my worries and was very understanding on my stress.
I went when they opened at 7:30 this morning. They were very nice to me and my car went back instantly. What I hoped was a faulty battery already replaced, was problem, and not my alternator. I got lucky, that was it.
I got an oil change when I was there also.
I will definitely be back. Thank y'all again! Have a wonderful New Year!

Jeremy was able to get me in on a late notice and get my show truck taken care of with new front springs and alignment. If you want someone that is proud of what they do then this is the place to take your vehicle. Support local and smaller business! Glad I have someone I can rely on with my show truck.

Been here multiple times. Very honest and upfront business. They have the most down to earth people working here.
Came in one time to get a rear differential fluid change and they went above and beyond and took off all the surface rust from my rear differential cover and painted it! I definitely did not expect them to do that for me.
Prices are reasonable and fair, but they will go above and beyond for you and your vehicle.

After moving to Katy from a smaller town, I needed a new mechanic. My parents moved to Sealy soon after so I searched and took a chance on this place. I've taken my car twice and we will continue to use them for all of our family's cars. Honest guys, quick work, and nice and professional people. Very happy we found them!

Jermey was an absolute Godsend! He found the last tire in town and helped me and my feince get back on the road to Austin TX. We had been waiting for about 4 hrs from Uhual and when Jermey got our service order he arrived in about 12 minutes, he helped us so much and if you ever need help with roadside assistance definitely REACH OUT TO THEM !!!

I’ve had a bunch of cars break down in a bunch of states over my 30 years of driving. This was by far and away the best auto repair experience I’ve ever had.
My car broke down last week, hours before I flew to California for a week long vacation before starting a new job in NJ three days after my return flight gets back to Houston. It’s a 2009, and I thought it was the transmission, so I was making backup plans if it wasn’t worth it to fix.
I called Paul and explained my situation. Him and his crew accommodated the vehicle being towed in, diagnosed and fixed, all with me being in California enjoying my vacation, getting constant updates from the shop.
I was nervous after I dropped it off and exposed my vulnerability by explaining my story, knowing that if they were dishonest or greedy, they could have taken me for a ride easily with me not being there. Instead they did honest work and reassured me that my transmission was fine and all they had to do was replace a sensor at a very reasonable rate.
Thank you so much Universal. You are a shining example of how a business should be run.

We would recommend everyone to take their car to Jeremy and his expert staff. Today we were traveling home to Florida and had engine problems. Somehow we limped in to their shop around 2:30. I explained our situation and he said he would have someone look at it right away. 20 mins later he explained the problem. He took my wife and I to a great restaurant to eat. He said he would do everything he could to complete the work. Just before 5 in he walks into the restaurant to give us a ride back to his shop!! The job entailed taking off the top of the motor and replaced the coils and spark plugs!!
God Bless him and his staff!
