I purchased a storage unit on an auction. It says they give you 72 hours to clean it out. I went by paid $100 deposit cleaned the unit out except for needing to sweep it which I did the next day but they said because I didn’t sweep it and it was a bike frame that was there that I don’t get my hundred dollars back. So I paid $100. I cleaned out the unit all they did was carry a bike frame that somehow ended up left in there that’s it and I went back to get the stuff and sweep it and they are not gonna give me my money back. I have a sneaky way of doing it. Their gate doesn’t work so people like me that are handicapped cannot go in there go to the unit and get out after 6 PM when they’re closed because the gate doesn’t work. You have to climb over the gate and put your coat in on the outside or walk all the way around the storage units to get to the other gate to put in the code and then go back in and get your car. It’s ridiculous. And if I wasn’t handicapped, I would’ve done the walking all the way around and back. All I had to do was sweep it out and I did that and they saying they’re not gonna give me my hundred dollars back.
Be very careful how much you trust these people. They will take advantage of you and screw you over even when it’s something their fault where the gate is broke be very careful with your belongings.

Devon storage on Perrin beitel has a very, very serious issue with many, many rats, that can kill people (Hantavirus, black and bubonic plague, besides spreading other diseases) they have bait boxes out, but they aren't serviced or maintained.
If you store with them, make sure that you have your property in rat/mouse proof containers, etc.

The manager Liz is very friendly and nice. Just moved into our storage unit yesterday and after filling our unit found there was a drip. Luckily not on any of our things, but Liz came right away with some plastic garbage bags for us to use as tarps and put in a work order for it to be fixed.

Manager Liz is super helpful and provides great customer service! But, I'm frustrated that as the manager she cannot offer any incentives to continue being a customer. Especially a long time customer like myself, I would think some sort of rental discount could be discussed.

Worst storage! We vacated today and we had broken items and missing stuff from our unit. The manager does not know how or who but they were the only ones with access since it had their lock on it. They also have a serious rat problem!! HUGE RATS that ruined our furniture and items. They were aware considering someone else complained, but nothing has been done! I have never had this problem before.
