Spent the afternoon here and enjoyed meeting owners Nate & Jen, Lauren behind the bar, and Thomas helping out with everything else. The drinks were fabulous as were the empanadas. My husband tried 3 red wines and enjoyed them all. We had a great time. Super Harvest Host experience in our RV.

Very cute and small operation. Locally owned and operated. The drinks are amazing and reasonably priced. I tried the “Flannel Pants”, I am not a big whiskey drinker, but I could drink a few of these. The staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I met one of the owners, Nate, got the backstory of how he started making whiskey. We will definitely be back.

This place is awesome. Nate and Jen started one of the most legitimate distilleries in Texas, and they planted it in the most up and coming city in Central Texas, Seguin. Make the trip to check out their unique whiskeys. From Moonshine to their signature Firehouse Whiskey and Jubilee. Nate even came over and gave us a free sample of their new bourbon. They are only open a couple days a week right now, but it is well worth the visit. Great folks!

Lauren and Jay were fantastic. You have to try the Apple Pie Old Fashion. And the Upside down cake old fashion when in season. Perfect spot.

Had some wonderful whiskey based cocktails tonight at a hometown distillery. The bartender was very helpful in picking out which drinks to try as my mom is typically a margarita drinker. Highly recommend if you're in the area, just note they close at 9pm.

Innovative whiskey oasis with a laid back hometown feel. We showed up as the doors opened and had a chance to talk to Nate, the owner and mad scientist behind Johnny Pickles. After a flight of their 4 whiskies straight, Nate gave us a peek behind the curtain and served us up a couple new cocktails he was thinking of adding to the menu, a tart cherry old fashion and tart cherry julep. Both were dangerously drinkable. Corn whiskey doesn't have the burn of bourbon or other blends that contain rye, so you don't have to be a cigar afficianado to enjoy a drink menu that is both eclectic and classic. The whiskey isn't the only thing this guy's crafting, they make their own bitters! The drinks are great, the outdoor space is comfortable and very instagrammable. Do yourself a favor, don't miss this place.

Wow what a great place. The respect for the craft is definitely present in the whiskey they produce. The owners and staff were super amazing and helpful. Nate even gives you comedy show telling dad jokes. Will visit again when we are back in town.

Creative, delicious cocktails and great conversation with craft whisky makers. Less than a year since they opened their doors and they're getting better every week, offering new seasonal cocktails and experiments on a regular basis!

I've tried their Firehouse whiskey, Breakfast whiskey, Jubilee, and Moonshine. All are phenominal! You may may find yourself wondering which you like the best and imo, the smoothness of their whiskey is unparalleled. If you like yourself, give Johnny Pickles a try.
