Went there with a friend of mine and we walked threw a portion of the yard. A lot of cars, busses, trucks, etc. Looks like you'd expect it too. We'll be going back in the future. Found some good stuff.

I called about rims for my car. The receptionist is rude never took the time to see if they had them or not. Just no we don't have them and just hung up. Bad business.

Been at John’s Salvage for all my vintage car part needs. On my last visit I scored some very hard to find steel wheels for my vintage Ford. Prices are very reasonable considering that classic car junkyards are a rarity these days. Lady at the office is very kind and knowledgeable. Terry helped raise the vehicle so i could remove the mentioned wheels. It’s true that this business has been around for a very long time so the very sought after parts are long gone, nevertheless there is a very large array of parts, trim, sheet metal, etc. Be sure to take cash as they don’t accept cards or electronic payments.

They have a lot of awesome cars and great parts, but charge way too!!! Much I understand they need to make business , but charging brand new reproduction price for used parts is ridiculous, they wanted to charge me $120 for a 2nd gen camaro spoiler that I pulled , it was in okay shape but needed new studs, needed fiber glass work, and had been out there for mostly likely years sitting in the sun since it was all the way in the far back deep in the trees , and they wanted $120 I can buy a remanufactured brand new one for same price if not cheaper, and the ladies excuse was “ well it’s original from that era “ that’s cool and all , but at the end of the day even if it was from that era and time it’s a car part that needs work regardless , and people that were selling them used range the price form $20 - $40 Johns salvage co charges way too much for old parts that are rusted , broke, sun damaged, and need work , y’all need to stop thinking what y’all have is a gold mine it’s not , especially if those parts were picking have been in that yard on those cars for decades.

Bad business to deal with I call them just to see if they would have any 2nd gen Camaro parts and they just hang up the phone !!! Not a good way to tell a customer that spends any where from 4 to 5 grand in classic car parts weekly they lost my business 100% wouldn't care if they the only ones that has the part won't deal with them ever
