“La Michoacana is a small grocery store with a pure Mexican ambiance, complete with some employees who seem to speak only Spanish. Being a gringo who lived in Mexico for 8 years, my tastes bring me here frequently.Limes are consistently cheaper than elsewhere and if you want great chicharrones, this is the place to go. (Try substituting them for bacon at breakfast.)And they have a kitchen that puts out food just like you get in Mexico. Some of the best quesadillas I've ever had.”
“I had a pick up schedule for 1pm. When I arrived, there was a table set up. Almost like a check in process where you give your name and a ticket is printed out. Then you take your ticket to the register. Someone goes to the back to get your order and brings it to you. Everything was well organized and packaged nice!”

“We have been coming to Rust since 2019 when we moved back out to New Braunfels. We have never gone wrong getting our meat products from Rust. They even got us through the Pandemic with eggs, toilet paper, milk, etc! Their meat always tastes great and fresh, location is convenient, staff is always super friendly! Soon I hope to use their services for game processing as-well will definitely update when I use that service!”
