I went in to GUNN GMC in Selma on Saturday 2/24/24 to do an oil change and was upsold on changing out my engine filter and cabin filter. When the work was complete I really didn’t notice any difference in air flow or any difference, so today Sunday 2/25/24, I pulled down the cover under the passenger side and noticed that the cabin filter still had the original seal meaning that they did not cut the seal with a utility knife or razor in order to replace it. This made me suspicious of the engine filter so I immediately checked and they did change the engine filter. I eventually had to check the dip stick to confirm that the oil was in fact new, and it was. These dealerships need to be honest with people. I have bought 2 brand new vehicles from Gunn and have experienced issues like this with their service department. I will no longer service my vehicles or purchase any vehicles at GUNN GMC.

"I've been a loyal customer of GUNN, having bought three vehicles from them. However, my recent experience when I brought in my wife's car for service has left me deeply disappointed. Not only did I spend $2,000 to fix one issue, but I drove away only to encounter a new problem that wasn't there before. Despite raising this concern, I felt disbelieved and dismissed by the staff. Unless they rectify this situation, it's unlikely I'll return for a fourth purchase."

PLEASANT and REFRESHING SURPRISE in one of the most frustrating things I have to do as a consumer, shop for a new vehicle. I’ve bought many vehicles throughout my years, dealt with many types of sales personnel and teams. By far, one of the best experiences when trying to purchase a new vehicle. The sales person, Austin, came out to great me after allowing me to walk the line of vehicles. I’ve had experience where no one even bothered to come outside and acknowledge me. As well as, times when I can’t even take the time to look at the vehicles without someone immediately starting to sell me. No feeling suffocated and pressured here. After answering a few of my questions, educating me on some features and showing me the 2 vehicles, I was able to do my test drive. We talked about my vehicle, Austin’s Sales Manager, Steven Moore, explained their offer and gave me valid points as to why their offer. Not once during their discovery of my needs/wants and motivation to purchase process , did I feel not being listened to and my concerns not acknowledged. The application process was simple and fast. The finance manager, Piotr Zelaskowski, genuinely tried to get me the best interest deal possible to fit my goals and finances. This is something that I’ve always felt most finance people never do. Usually I feel that I have to fight back and forth with the entire sales team and finance department, to get a fare deal. Gunn Buick GMC was a refreshing 180 degree turn from the usual car buying experience. Never pushy and tying to steer me into a purchase at all cost to me and of my financials. Thank you to the Gunn Team, I appreciate the great shopping experience even though this time, it didn’t work out . I certainly highly recommend Gunn BUICK GMC based on my own personal experience and hope to be able to get a deal as soon as the numbers work for me and Gunn.
