Whoever gave this business a 1 Star rating has a problem. They are a class act from top to bottom. Very friendly, respectful and professional. I highly recommend them!

Further more to followup . If I Yelled at you staff during covid why was this not brought to my attention. I will tell you the problem its family. I have called to make an appointment and it was set up because you guys told me to call and set it up. i called back in November to set an appt for jan and was told to call back then. I did I work like the rest of you and I was stating that to the front desk that I do not have availability and asked if she could call if you had any availabilities. It shows how rude you are to leave such a comment for someone who has treated you and your staff with nothing but respect. But if this is the way you speak to people I do not want to be a part of your practice. I also need my records. oh and there is no glaucoma that was tested for . let me guess this is my fault to right. no it was a money scam. I trusted you and your practice glad I found out the truth about your practice. I have found a great dr. and I will be having the insurance investigate you for charging my insurance for exams that where not needed. Everyone's pressure is high at one time or another. my pressure was fine at this appoinement I just went to. take your family owned business and learn how to run it. I need my records or y attorney will be calling you. since your front desk does not wasn't to answer the phone,. . YOUR PRACTICE IS THE RUDEST BUNCH OF PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET RACHEAL AT FRONT IS DRAMA AND NOTHING BUT A RUDE PERSON LIKE YOU AND YOUR STAFFF. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING THROUGH THESE YEARS.

I use to believe that reviews were a good way too rate doctor's. That's when I read some negative comments about the Optique Eye Care of Dr Kikuchi and staff that I had to respond! As a person with advanced Inflammatory Ocular Glucumoa and numerous surgerys, I can tell you Dr. Kikuchi is far more advanced than Any Optometrist in San Antonio. I would (and have) put my precious vision in Dr. Kikuchi and his professional staff hands anyday.

Tried to charge me for an eye exam that is covered by my insurance, yearly. I verified this on my own. Do not recommend this placeIn response to below response- i said if you are going to charge me the $100 copay then to cancel it. It is in fact covered. Already found another office. Y’all have a blessed day also Also, when i called the first time asking if you take tricare, why say yes. When you don’t? Routine exams are covered. If others peoples claim got denied that has nothing to do with me.

We are comoletely new to this practice. I've been at my previous optometrist since I was 16 years old, but wanted a change. I made an appt for myself and two kids. Of which, for starters, I was told I couldnt have them on the same day. Not a big deal, fine. I did mine and my son's first as my daughter had an issue with her insurance that I told them about when I made the appt, but told them it should be resolved by then. My son and I went to our appt. It was a little awkward, but I couldnt put my finger on it, almost like I was being judged or a feeling of disgust. Could it be that I'm disabled? Maybe. Could it be that I didn't buy their frames and asked for my rx to get my frames filled at Eyemart as I always do? Probably. Now that's I think about it, this makes the most sense. Who knows, but I didn't think much of it as my old optometrist didnt get offended when I didnt purchase their frames. Fast forward to my daughter's upcoming appt. I received a text and call from them about her insurance. Of which I informed them when I scheduled there was an issue that we were trying to get resolved. It had not been resolved so we would need to cancel for the time being. Apparantly, they didn't cancel. Fast forward again, my daughters insurance situation is fixed. I called to make an appointment, which I'm told I cannot because I had A no call no show. I was dumbfounded for multiple reasons, one because I've had this same converstion with them for now the THIRD time, but most importantly because if someone actually doesn't show up from ONE missed appointment they automatically drop you. People have emergencies, I couldn't believe that was their practice. But again, I had informed them of my situation several times, so them not canceling the appointment was on them. I was a little annoyed, but remained polite. The "manager" on the other end did not. She then proceeded to schedule an appointment, without resolving or discussing the issue at hand. Just immediately went into "You can bring her in at 2 pm today or next month." It was 1pm at the time of this conversation, she knew what she was doing. I said one sec, let me ask my daughter as she's sick (migraine). She immediately says oh no, you cant come them, I suggest you find somewhere else to go. I asked why. She said because my daughter was sick. I said she has a migraine, which affects her in no way. But even still, why wouldnt I be able to schedule at a later date if that was your concern? She very rudely dissonected the call. I sent a message asking my entire family to removed from their services effective immediately as I did not like their lack of professionalism and snarky, judgemental character. The same "manager" responded in a e condescending tone. Now claiming that I was dropped due to MULTIPLE NC/NSs. I told her to send me proof because how could that be when we were new patients and my son and I went to our appts. And I only scheduled once for my daughter, again, of which they were repeatedly informed of her insurance issue. Of course she couldn't provide that, and instead blocked me. Never gave me contact the information that I requested. No worries, it will be addressed. If you are considering this location, don't. God forbid you get in a car accident on your way there, they'll drop you. The sad part is, I can deal with policies, (I'm a rule follower) had they been mentioned beforehand, and if I actually had broken any. What I can't deal with it is lack of professionalism in a businI will say that the doctor was great. That's about it.

Customer service is NOT a priority. Tameka at the front desk acted unprofessional and inappropriately in front my my niece. She proceeded to follow my sister into the parking lot calling names and scaring my niece. Any insurance conflict should be settled in an appropriate matter without a verbal fight with the customer. Optique obviously doesn’t care to build healthy customer relations. Shockingly Disappointing.

Dr. Nguyen is great! The staff is relaxed and professional! Most important is a careful and caring optometrist, and Emily Nguyen was 100% both. I had some questions at the end and she was patient and fully engaged ... It wasn't like she was trying to rush me out of the exam room. Another great thing about Optique is NO PRESSURE to buy frames. As I walked past the front desk the technician handed me my prescription. I paused at the Vera Bradley display, tried on a pair or two, and kinda stood there. The tech said "anything in particular you are looking for?" I said I wanted something bolder than my current style. She took a minute to pick out four frames, including two from the bargain rack! I loved one of the ones she picked and bought it. Super-chill!

i'd like to thank Dr.Ken, Tameka, Mary and the rest of the staff for making my visit on 3/27 amazing. i was on the edge of getting my eye checked out from an injury i had suffered the day before. After me being a bit complicated about actually going in i decided to choose them as the eye doctor to go to. They accommodate to my requests and once i arrived the experience was amazing. Dr.Ken consulted with me about my worries and explained everything thoroughly. He seemed very knowledgeable about his practices. Thank you for giving me peace of mind.

I’m KJ and Dr K is an amazing optometrist, who is not only looking out for your eyeglass needs, but the health of your eyes! Dr. K’s is very nice and makes his patients feel welcomed and comfortable! He’s always ready to answer any questions I have! His staff is nice too! The inside of the optometrist business is clean and organized to perfection. I have been seeing Dr K for seven years now and I plan to have him as my optometrist for years to come ! And if my kids need an optometrist Dr K will be their eye doctor!
