“What a great stay in a great location! Get one of the rooms that overlooks the iconic Conoco station on Route 66. We got fantastic photos from the room.This place is extremely well run by lovely people who want you to be comfortable and happy. We ended up staying an extra night.Coffee in the room, easy safe parking and very clean room and grounds! "Happy ATM" in the parking lot with neon! And cool lighting on the motel. A great stay. Quiet and blackout drapes.Rooms: Super clean, spacious room with fun colors. Recently remodeled. Great shower pressure.Safety: Felt very safe here, and room to pull our classic truck under an awning if the weather caused concern.Walkability: Cool pizza place very close and cafe and dollar store directly across the street.Noteworthy details: The BEST place to see the most iconic site on Route 66”

“Shamrock Country Inn is the best! We've stayed here twice on road trips. Arron is so nice and so accommodating. The place is completely pet friendly, which is our favorite part. We have two big dogs and they're completely welcome and it's so easy. The place is also so inexpensive and the perfect stop off on our cross country road trips. Arron always accommodates our super late night arrivals, and yes the rumors are true, we always look forward to the Texas shaped waffles for breakfast. Shamrock is extremely charming. Nothing fancy but it's perfect for a one night stop through. And it attracts some of the friendliest travelers from all over the country! Thank you Arron and we look forward to our next stay!”

“Great place to stop while passing through on I-40. Reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. Breakfast was good. Checking in was a breeze. Desk staff and staff in and out during breakfast were very hospitable. Only complaint was housekeeping knocking on the door at 8:15AM when checkout is at 11AM. I was awake but my husband and child weren't.”

“We did an over night here passing through. Very displeased. I card to ask if we could get a top floor. The older gentleman I spoke with immediately responded say they had nothing on the top floor and they had us on the second floor. I said no room types of any kind on the top floor and he said no, they had a full house.I hear no typing going on.We arrived standing waiting to check in and the young guy at the front desk asked the guys in front of us if he wanted a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. My husband spoke up and said you just told my wife on the phone no rooms on the top floor. The young guy said they just had three cancellations. Oh ok sure.We got to put room did our normal bed check and when I went into the bathroom I noticed the floor was dirty with hair all over and on the tub and chips on the tub. We had read where it was newly remolded that why we stayed. When I went to wash my hands the drain stopper was broke.The next day I was using the bathroom before we checked out and way before check and I heard the door open. Thinking it was y husband I said is that you? No answer !! I quickly went out and knew it has to be house keeping.I found house keeping and asked who entered my room. She denied it then admitted it.My error I didn’t have the safety latch however she has no right to enter while guests is still there.I reported to the front desk and I could tell they really didn’t care. We definitely will not be staying again.”
