Fast charging, bathroom open on the side of the building facing the side street. Cool stop even if gift shop and cafe were closed. Friendly chicken that greeted us - mom thinks they should put boots on the stuffed guy looking into the hood of the pickup.

A very cool stop along Route 66. The building looks like it’s been restored, and the cool old trucks really add to the atmosphere.

Chargers are right off old Route 66 and worked really well. Also next to a really cute museum called the U-Drop-In. If you're in the area, stop on in.

Have charged here a few times, cute location with 24 hr restroom. Last night the charging speed was fluctuating on several chargers so was a bit worried since theres nothing around.

Neat little spot on route 66, but not convenient to anything especially if at night. The only thing close is the Holiday Inn, which actually looks pretty nice.

One of the best places to charge your vehicle. Food and restrooms available at “ U Drop Inn cafe”

Pleasantly surprised to find a local cafe near the charger! Almost exclusively over the past 3 weeks traveling from charger to charger I’ve been disappointed to wait in a hotel parking lot or other plaza, nowhere near real food (I’m looking at you too Applebees). The drought ended today with the pleasant soup/sandwich and ice cream offerings at the delightful U Drop Inn cafe! Others have pointed out that there is an 24 hour outdoor restroom open if you happen to come when the cafe is closed. How nice! This type of experience is what I expected charging would be like but not so at other places. This place is the pleasant exception and not the rule. Usually one finds herself in a dirty parking lot without so much as a trash can. Thanks for doing it right, Shamrock!I should probably mention that the charging seemed to be perfectly fine, but honestly it’s not the headline. Get some real food, rest a spell, and appreciate how clean everything is.

Super fun place! We got there after hours but still got some fun photos.NOTE: There IS a restroom you can use even when the shop is not open. It’s next to the garage with the antique truck. Its a single person bathroom, that is not inside the building. The door opens straight onto the sidewalk. I assumed it was closed…but a friendly fellow charging Tesla driver told me they were open. The photo helps show where the bathroom is ?

I saw the chargers a long time before I figured out how to get there without driving over a curb. Grateful to be here arriving at 2% charge. Ted's Cafe Escondido is great.

Stopped by for a quick charge and made some lunch while I was at it. Plenty of room and it was nice to have a restaurant next door if that's your speed. I made fancy top ramen to warm up on a cold November cold day.

At the top of the highway heading southeast. If your going fast it would be easy to miss. A great view of white sands. There is a kiosk with a lot of very interesting info about the area. It's pretty windy - hold on to your hat

This is one of the coolest superchargers I've seen! I love the juxtaposition of old and new! Single restroom is there, look to the side.

Stopped here for the Tesla charger. Cute little stop, but the diner doesn't serve food after 2pm just ice cream and drinks. So if you plan on eating here while your car charges, make other plans. Luckily we didn't have to wait long. At least there is a restroom.

Six chargers behind the iconic Conoco Tower building, which was built in the 1930s as a gas station/cafe along Route 66. It now houses the U-Drop-In Cafe and a gift shop. There's also a McDonalds about 100 yards down on the opposite side of the street.
