Accidentally found this place because I had to pull off the highway. If you are a fan of Ken Block and Gymkhana you will recognize this where he drifted his F150 around the pumps.

Retro route 66 Tesla supercharger stop.

Possibly the most beautiful gas station on the Route, its “Art Nouveau” style makes it different from all of them (it looks a lot like the one in the movie Cars); Being so pretty, we thought the store would have interesting things, but it didn't seem that way to us.

I drop in here for a supercharge and enjoy a root beer float. I like the old school nostalgia ?

What a gem this is! So much effort has been put into restoring it, and the man running the Cafe has been continually improving the interior and exterior and expanding the hours and menu since reopening it several years ago.The gift and tourism shop in the old gas station part of the building is very nice.We found this because those in charge were wise enough to accept the installation of a Tesla Supercharger array that is part of Tesla's nationwide network that allows electric vehicles to travel x-country.We have stopped here twice a year for the last three years, and we would stop even if we were not driving an EV.

Great little stop at night only downfalls is not really open. If you or your kids love the movie cars definitely stop to see this part of Americana.

A neat little piece of history that we only got to see through the windows. This would’ve been a five star review, probably. Guidebooks said it would be open until 3 p.m. We wanted to have lunch there, maybe eat in the booth Elvis sat in, but it was closed, on a Saturday, at noon! There were three other groups of tourists there wanting to have lunch, also. We were all very disappointed ???
