The room is dark with very little light. Even the mirror at the bathroom sink is only partially lit from above. There is a lot of unused space in this room, not very well organized or appointed - no desk, no microwave, no end tables for the couch, one small lamp in the entire room and the shower is so weak, I had to stand under it for a hour just to get clean. Do not recommend. There are just so many other options, there's no reason to stay here.

The hotels located just north of Houston. A great location close to restaurants and interstate .Half is nice and cordial but the rooms have very thin walls. If you are a heavy sleeper, you should not have a problem you can hear normal conversations in the room next-door and the TV show that’s being played that’s an issue.

Would not recommend for business travel. Rooms do not have iron/boards and I learned they are in short supply as the front desk informed me they have all been given out. I think the design went one step too far with the minimalist approach. A basic expectation of any hotel room in an iron/board.

Terrible hotel , heat didn't work. Told them the night before and still no heat. They changed rooms and the room was dirty. Don't waste your time at this hotel. Not very good customer service.

Nice place but they don't post the lounge hours so call ahead. Unfortunately, I did not and assumed it would be open and would have chosen somewhere else to stay. At least I'll know for the next business trip.

We had issues with quite a few bugs in our first room, just water bugs. When they moved us to another room, we noticed bugs but only one.

AWFUL. Nothing luxury about this place but the shampoo. Skip this hotel. I called right after I made the reservation to make sure I got a disabled room & the front desk assured me all the bathrooms had handrails around the toilets. Guess what? No, they don't. There's ONE microwave-by the front desk. The bed is not comfortable at all. They give you one tiny blanket. They acted like we snuck our dog in. Seriously? We walked in with her when we checked in & she was on our reservation. We are NEVER going back to this hotel.

Had a great stay here. The hotel is very nice and the room was clean. It is a little on the cramped side and a unique setup in the room. Not complaining though!

Not a bad choice if you are staying in Houston.. the Aloft segment of hotels are designed to be clean, ultra modern feel hotels. There is a bar in the lobby with a nice seating area and tvs to veg out on.The breakfast is not really a breakfast... grab and go is what it really is. For me it's a pass and go grab food elsewhere. Parking is fine, bedding was good and I had no noise issues at all.

Upon late arrival the parking lot was dark and inviting for a criminal as all parking lot lights were off. The staff was not not prepared like they stated they were for our stay. After discussing a crib in the room previously during the evening and being assured it was there during check in at 10pm it in fact was not in the room. Crying baby isn’t a good start waiting on a bed for 15 minutes. The walls, and in particular the ceilings are made of cardboard. All night and early morning the Scottish dancer’s heals boomed along the ceiling. Beds are also very hard, mentioned that there was no lotion in the room either. Nice renovated hotel but had some hiccups for sure. Front desk agent was very friendly and doing the best she could but without reliable support staff she can’t manage an entire hotel.

Giving this Aloft 1 star even though it was once one of my favorite locations. Someone from housekeeping “threw” a pair of expensive tennis shoes in the trash. The hotel staff has done nothing to resolve that issue. Have called multiple times to speak to the general manager. It’s been months now and haven’t received a call.

Talk about incredible value for the money!!!Fantastic, convenient, picturesque and quiet location and always at amazing value. Great proximity to I-45, social arenas and event centers in The Woodlands, Spring, etc., and within 15-20 minutes’ drive of George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The staff is irrefutably super friendly, pleasant, professional, very expedient/efficient, responsive and always eager to help. The property/facilities, from the premises/grounds, on-premise gym, bar and conferences areas, to the rooms are very clean and well-kept/maintained. Atmosphere/ambience is welcoming and friendly. Rooms are spacious, neatly/nicely furnished/apportioned …very well laid out and including refrigerators and high-quality sounding external speaker box, and quiet. This Aloft hotel is one of the best places to stay when in the North Houston area. Beds and pillows are soft, clean, functional and comfortable. It is undoubtedly/likely best value for the money across The Woodlands areas. Location is less than 2 minutes from I-45 and 5-10 minutes from The Woodlands city-center and yet offers feelings of seclusion and privacy from the hustling and buzzing of the city. Even while within minutes of I-45 interchange traffic, the neighborhood, and particularly the hotel, is very safe and quiet and within walking distance from assortments of restaurants convenient stores and eateries. I’ve also noticed consistent/frequent presence of law enforcement vehicles in the area, adding even greater levels of safety. There's always ample parking around the property ...even when at 100% capacity. Pool area is against wooded backdrop that creates sense of seclusion and privacy and nice canopy from the weather. The bar area is very well structured and inviting for social gatherings. I am so looking forward to when the hotel will consider hosting music events with local entertainers/performers because the layout is just perfect for such social events.I’ve frequented this particular location now for over 8-months and there’s just no noticeable downside to report. Which in itself is testament to the efforts, hard-works and commitments of the hotel personnel ...from staff through management. Everyone's polite, respectful, congenial, friendly, hospitable, eager to offer assistance, etc.Definitely no regrets so far ...and to date. And looking forward to continuing opportunities to stay at this Aloft.Rooms: Rooms are spacious, well laid out, apportioned, quiet and with great viewsNearby activities: Within 8-10 minutes drive of The Woodlands city center, social events facilities/arenas and The Woodlands and Spring business district. With 20 minutes drive of George Bush Intercontinental Airport.Safety: Constant law-enforcement presence in the general area and noticeable expedient responses giving general appearance and impressions of extra safety.Walkability: Conveniently located and within walking distance of numerous/assortments of restaurants/eateries and shopping areas.Noteworthy details: Very spacious facilities with plenty of parking area. Property is wooded, private and quiet, even while within 2 minutes or so of the I-45 Interchange.
