Satisfied with the service here. If you buy a bike from them, they'll give you free bike services and the prices are the same as online. Highly recommend!

I usually handle my own bike repairs, but after getting hit by a car, my Haro mountain bike was in rough shape, way beyond what I could fix. A friend recommended this shop, and Ken worked his magic. He had my bike back to top condition in no time. Now I get why everyone says, 'Go see Ken.' I'm officially part of the cult!

What a great bike shop! I was there to look at the Aventon ebikes. They have plenty of bikes at a decent price. I had a broken spoke on a wheel needing repair. They got it done at the price they estimated and in the timeframe they said. How great is that.

Love this bike shop. I got to meet the famous Ken and he was an absolute pleasure to talk to. He’s very knowledgeable and enjoys helping his customers. I’m definitely coming back for all my bike gear. We have to support our local businesses! I have bought online and the service is not comparable. Thanks Ken!

Never shopping Bike Lane again. Very irritated feelings from the staff. There's no pleasant experience here. Just buy it online.

I am new to biking and ordered a new mountain bike online. I finished the assembly and knew something was not quite right when I shifted gears. Even though I had no appointment and it was nearing the end of the day the Bike Lane team was super friendly and had my bike fixed up in minutes! The store itself had tons of cool gear and I look forward to making Bike Lane my go to spot for tune ups and upgrades!

GO SEE KEN or Overpay for Shoddy Workmanship and Dollar Store Replacement Parts
This is a bit of a read, but INFORMATIVE AND WORTH IT!!!!! I purchased my Specialized at Bike Land in 2017. I’ve done several rides and triathlons, including a Half Ironman, with my beautiful bike. I started training for Ironman Texas in 12/2023 and decided to take my bike for maintenance this year (1/2024). Since I bought it from Bike Land (hindsight….MISTAKE….we’ll revisit this in a moment) I took it back there for maintenance (also a MISTAKE). $326 for labor, some parts (a cassette and a chain) and new bar tape. Several rides were on the trainer, but eventually I was able to get outside for a real test ride. I took her out and knocked out about 4 or 4 1/2 hours. The chain came off at mile 8 going up a hill…..which had NEVER happened before! My chain had NEVER, EVER come off!!!!!! I was able to get it back on and finish up my ride. The next weekend, my prescribed ride was 5 hours. At around 4 hours and 70+ miles in, going up a hill, my chain came off!!!! I couldn’t even get it to go back on/stay on because the derailleur seemed to have gotten bent or stuck, ending my ride early. So, having this issue now more than once, I took it back to Bike Land. The technician took a look at it got the chain back on and made some “adjustments”. I even asked him why the chain going to the big gear looked crooked and like it was rubbing. Now, keep in mind I don’t fix, build or service bikes for a living so I depend on the business (es) to do it right, and do it right the first time. He said he adjusted it so it wouldn’t happen again. They sent me on my way. The next weekend was bad weather, so I had to do an indoor trainer ride. Two weeks after the “tweaks” I had a 6 hour ride, this time outside. Again, chain issues…. I took my bike to Ken at BIKE LANE, FINALLY. He didn’t so much as walk out and get around my bike before a look of disappointment and frustration washed over him (because this is his absolute PASSION) as he said that Bike Land didn’t even use Shimano parts….they used CHEAP CASSETTES and a CHEAP CHAIN that AREN’T EVEN COMPATIBLE WITH SHIMANO…..hence all of the issues!! I SPECIFICALLY took my bike to Bike Land because I bought it from there and FULLY EXPECTED them to use the CORRECT parts. It’s like taking your Toyota to the dealership and getting some cheap, whack parts that don’t even work with your vehicle!!!!!! I left my bike with Ken at BIKE LANE feeling angry (at Bike Land), discouraged and like I can’t trust my equipment. Not a good feeling leading up to an Ironman. I picked my bike up a couple days later. Ken walked me around and explained what he had done and showed me that the parts he used to replace the Dollar General Store trash that Bike Land used were indeed ACTUAL Shimano parts; however, there is a huge problem. Because of the HALFASSERY, HAPHAZARD and shoddy workmanship and parts used by the clowns at Bike Land, my derailleur AND frame (WTH ?) are BOTH bent by the impact/friction from the chain or maybe from them trying to cram CHEAP PARTS into my bike. My bike is ruined. HOPEFULLY, she’ll get me through these last few weeks of training and Ironman TX….but thanks to Bike Land, I can’t completely trust my equipment. I went to Bike Land to speak directly to the owner but was provided his card to send him an email. I will provide an update on the outcome. I’m not one to just go out to buy equipment because I want to….now I have to. I PROMISE the place I go to when I make my purchase won’t be Bike Land! It’ll be BIKE LANE and I’ll GO SEE KEN!!!!!! And I will NEVER trust those clowns at Bike Land to “fix” or “maintain” ANYTHING!!!! I wouldn’t bring my stapler to them to be fixed!!!! If you want BEAUTIFUL, QUALITY bikes, service AND maintenance….GO SEE KEN at BIKE LANE!!!!!!!

Last week I took my son and daughters Cannondale Quicks in for tune ups. The same day I received a text that they were ready. When I picked them up they were like new. Yesterday my Cannondale Topstone rear tire went flat. I didn't realize until this morning how critical the Topstone had become for me riding to/from school with my son everyday (he also has a Topstone from The Bike Lane). After using it as a spare today I finally decided to hand down my 25 year old Cannondale mountain bike and get a new backup bike. Robert from The Bike Lane took me thru my options and based on my trail/sidewalk daily commute I decided on a Cannondale Quick CX1. By the time I arrived at the store to pickup my Topstone the Quick CX1 was ready. The Bike Lane has served my family with multiple generations of bikes and we appreciate the exceptional knowledge and service from The Bike Lane team.

Went in to buy a front brake caliper, bike mechanic comes out with a short reach caliper, explain to him I need a mid or long reach caliper, as the short reach is a few mm's too short. The mechanic starts saying that the product I'm looking for does not exist and there is no such thing as a "mid or long reach" caliper. He goes on to say that what I'm trying to do by putting a smaller wheel on a larger frame won't work (I never once told him what type of bike I had, just that I needed a mid to long reach caliper).Ended up just buying a long reach caliper online, no idea how I found it since according to this mechanic it doesn't exist.

I decided to buy an ebike for my son. Had heard about the Aventon brand. Went to "Go See Ken" about it, as Bike Lane is one of the biggest distributors of the brand. Had a delightful hour with Herb, the owner of the store. He showed us the ins and outs of the "Aventon Sinch". We bought this model and were happy to know Bike Lane provides lifetime service! What a deal. Best experience ever. No need to go anywhere else. Now wonder there are so many Go See Ken bumper stickers all over town!!

Wonderful place! Very friendly, nice atmosphere, salespeople kind and extremely helpful. They had all the bikes I was interested in, including the one I was pretty sure I wanted. After a test ride, I was hooked. They also helped me find a helmet that fit properly. Went back two days later and purchased another bike and helmet for my hubby. Would recommend them to anyone. Wish I lived closer but it was worth the trip. Thank you, Bike Lane.
