I was alittle timid and nervous due to being self taught and selfish š. I decided to book an appointment at club champion in the Woodlands area anyway to get out of my comfort zone. Needless to say I was hoping I'd strike the ball well on top of battling alot of other thoughts, I was greeted professionally and friendly upon arrival/entry. Guy was very knowledgeable and patient and genuine in understanding my swing as well as my goals. Thus leading to the perfect selection of clubs for me. Meanwhile, I had the pleasure of broc stepping in as well to give his expertise and evaluation of the process also recommending, explaining the differences and why. I honestly feel extremely good and confident in my swing now with these selections. Overall experience felt more personal than financial as investment. I didnt totally customize everything but it was most of my bag. I highly recommend this place for those that are skeptical or self taught like me. JUST DO IT!

Paid $1200 for a driver, shaft was great Qi35 head was horrible.
Driver head was $599 + tax and they tried to give me a credit for the store of $335 dollars after only using it a handful of times.
Complete joke. Never go here.

I have worked with Ryan multiple times and each visit has been fantastic. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and answers questions in a very understanding manner. He provides suggestions for helping with improving your ball striking if you ask versus just providing you with numbers from the Trackman. He does not try to push you toward any purchase which is very professional. I would recommend Ryan wholeheartedly. I was fitted with Mizuno 245s two years ago and was interested in the new Mizuno S3 irons. After hitting the S3, Ryan was very honest and recommended I stay with the 245s. This is the type of integrity one needs from a fitter. Thanks Ryan for all you do for your customers.

This is the second time Iāve used Ryan at CC! He makes sure he gets it right!! He suggests a wide variety of heads and shafts to optimize flight characteristics and takes the time to teach you something. Highly recommend him and the CC team.

Highly Recommend! Ryan Bailey is a wealth of knowledge. He took the time to explain the differences throughout the fitting, for why we were going to different heads or shafts. Very patient.

I have been fit by Broc Raymond multiple times over the years. He provides excellent feedback and expertise! There are fitters that just toss a couple shafts in some clubs and send you on your way, and then there are fitters like Broc that walk you through the data, the results, and the why. Understanding your equipment is more important than most players realize. Broc is very knowledgeable and very personable. You wont be disappointed with your experience!

I had a great experience at Club Champion. Broc was great at his job and he deserves a lot of credit for his knowledge and patience with those that do not have the knowledge he does. I was able to ask a lot of questions and he gave me a mini-education when I was there, which I greatly appreciate.I actually went there twice, as I struggled the first time. The way I was hitting the ball was a waste of everyone's time. Broc was cool about it and let me reschedule. I came back, had a better day, and he dialed me in very well.I have seen significant improvements already in ball striking. The total price for a new bag is more expensive than you will find by buying new clubs in a different way. However, I am here to tell you that the way I swing a club now is exceptionally more comfortable and easier than the way I did before I bought these new clubs. The shafts (which is the "sticker shock" other reviewers are complaining about) make all the difference. When you swing the clubs with the shafts that are right for you, you play a different game. That difference might not be worth it to others, but it is well worth it to me.Thanks again, Broc!

Broc at Club Champion knows golf, and he knows how to truly fit equipment to each unique swing. In addition, he delivers a real customer-focused experience offering water, breaks, mid session analysis, and some good banter that makes the entire fitting process enjoyable! He fit me for a shaft that has turned my driver into a real asset rather than a liability. If you go to this store, ask for Broc, you won't be disappointed!

To my knowledge, theyāre fitting ability is fine. It all goes downhill from there. If you donāt buy clubs from them and pay the extremely premium price, they will treat you poorly and act like you wasted their time. Why have a custom fitting option if you are going to be upset if the customer only chooses that option and decides to look elsewhere for clubs? The price for my driver that they offered was 2 1/2 times what I would spend elsewhere. I paid $100 to be there for 37 minutes, and they acted like I was stealing from them. There are so many options out there to get fitted and buy clubs, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Nice facility and helpful/knowledgeable fitters. My issue with Club Champion is I paid a premium for the fitting, $400. Despite what I thought was supposed to be $100 fitting they said it was $100 off the fitting (if I bought clubs). We spent quality time choosing clubs and tried many different options based on my swings, which was great. My swing however is still very variable as Iām very amateur.Early in the fitting the associate asked me what kind of budget I had. My exact words were āIām not trying to spend anything crazy, Iād like to get what I needā. Apparently this was too ambiguous as at the end of the fitting I was presented with an invoice for $6,000. Obviously I was shocked. For a novice to be given one option at that price is absurd, especially when I said I donāt need to spend anything crazy. This is crazy. So, putting that aside, I was presented with no other options. It was choose the 6k clubs or donāt. So naturally I did not, and left (after paying $400). I know nothing about my swing or what others options may exist for me.So essentially if you choose to be fit at CC, if you donāt buy their extremely expensive configurations itās a complete waste of money. I could see a very experience golfer who can try different combinations and know what they are doing extract value from this but for me it was give us tons of money or leave with nothing. I was pretty disappointed to say the least.I notified CC of my experience and I got no response from corporate, just an email from the fitter saying to call them. Iām sure they would want me to come in and do it again and offer me something cheaper but I live an hour and a half away so thatās a 6 hour day including the fitting. Itās funny, I told my experienced golfer friends what I paid for the fitting and what they tried to sell me and they were legitimately upset, was definitely attempted to be taken advantage of.
