I had a terrible experience at this H&R Block location. When I first arrived, I was told my tax filing would cost around $84, which seemed reasonable. However, after being passed from one preparer to another, I was assigned to Indira Gomes (MBA, Senior Tax Analyst). She took nearly two hours to file my taxes and never informed me that the price would increase drastically.
After completing my return, I was shocked to be charged $397 (after a $25 discount)—almost five times the original quote! On top of that, I specifically told her I had two W-2s and a 1099, plus Colorado state taxes to file. She assured me she would handle everything, but I later discovered she never filed my state taxes!
Now, my federal refund has arrived, but my state tax was never processed because it wasn’t filed correctly. I paid a premium price for a service that wasn’t even completed properly.
If you’re considering H&R Block, be extremely careful. They overcharge without informing you, and their service is unreliable. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone!

Indra Gomes is awesome! She’s done my taxes for a second time this year and fixed one on my tax issues. She’s patient and knows what she’s doing.

Tax professional complained about the organization of my information even though I had multiple excel sheets, totals ect. Made it sound like she was annoyed to have to work on my taxes. I won't return.

Mr. Bala Sankaran assisted me today with the preparation of my taxes. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Mr. Sankaran made every effort to make certain that I received every deduction available to me. I am so appreciative of his efforts. For the first time in several years, I am receiving a refund instead of paying.
