No one actually answers the phone when you're in need so I had to call a tow truck

I had an unfortunate blow out on my van, I got to this tire shop so they could help me change out the spare tire. First they said that it was a "special key" to drop the tire from underneath the van. They offered me a badly worn tire as replacement for $50. A quick look up on YouTube I found out it wasn't a "special key" it was the lug wrench that came with the van. After we dropped the spare tire which was like new condition, they said they couldn't put it on the van and literally said I had to buy this badly worn tire. See the picture below, this was their solution. Who takes advantage of people like this?
