Bought a used RV there 2 yrs ago - good experience, 4 stars. Bought a new truck last week and kept the old brake controller that Camping World installed for me. Called today to see if they could install the old one in my new truck. Was told it would take 1.5 hours at $290/hr. I declined. Found a diy video - looked really easy. Took me <15 minutes. 0 stars. Avg 2 stars.

Do not take your RV here. Took mine in for an awning repair. 2 months later, after leaving numerous messages and talking to four different employees, I still never got a quote on the awning. Most of the time, they didn't even show I needed the awning repaired on the order. Four of them gave different ballpark amounts from $600 to $2500 but could not give an exact quote because they didn't know what the shipping would be. How can you not know what the shipping will be on the parts to fix my trailer? What company doesn't tell you what shipping will be when you give them an address? Tried to escalate to a manager, they all said they don't have a manager. Finally, just told them I was picking it up and taking it somewhere else. They offered no apology or didn't even try to make it right. So I'm taking it elsewhere now. Will never go back to this store again. Please do not take it here. Read the other reviews here, which I wish I would have done and saved myself two months of frustration and the runaround.

Bought a NEW Forest River Wildwood camper here July 2022 and the sales experience was great! We bought this camper to live in while we built our home. Two weeks after purchasing the unit 1 of the AC units goes out. Unit was in the shop for 3+ weeks. After getting our home back the first rain of summer comes and water is pouring on the inside due to a leak from NO sealant around the kitchen window. A mobile tech came out and determined that the floor was rotted and mold was growing everywhere. Our home was unloaded and sent back to camping world September 2022 for review of all the damage. They determined the unit need to go back to the manufacture in Indiana. We have owned this camper for 16 months and had it in our possession for a month+/-. The customer service/care is nonexistent here. The GM of the dealership told us "he can not help that we bought this to live in". They will not call with any updates. I also asked the dealership to buy back this defaulted product they sold us and they said NO. I asked them what they would give on trade for it and the answer was shocking. We paid $62,000 for this unit and they said they would give us $32,000 for it.I could write a book for this horrible experience.I would hate for this to happen to another family/person so buyers beware.

Joe Middleton and the sales team were great to work with. We looked at a lot of campers over several visits before purchasing our grey wolf travel trailer. The parts staff was also very friendly and helpful. We are very happy with the camper. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is the service department. On our first service visit for a 90 day inspection and a couple of minor fixes including a decal that was peeling that was to be fixed on a we owe from the purchase. I called a few times ahead of the service visit to ensure the decal would be there ahead of time. Communication has been non existing with Kat. She wasn't there when I dropped the camper off a month ago, and after 3 weeks to "diagnose" a warped skylight, a broken door strap and a trim board rubbing the floor on the slide out, I stopped by to talk with Kat to check on progress. Not only after a month have they not ordered parts, Kat asked me to send her a picture of the decal that was peeling. I said I'd be happy to if she showed me where they parked it. She had no idea that service still has my camper. I've alerted Joe and left a message for the general manager. Waiting to hear back.

Camping World is fantastic they took care of me. Bobby Lewis was extremely helpful and has a servants heart. He is a great asset to this Camping World. The tech in service are awesome also. Matt stayed with the job until he finished after closing time. Awesome place.

Typical car lot except they try to sell you any camper they can get you to attach to. I felt the sales pressure. I did not feel my interests were top value to them but more to make a sale on one, any one of the campers they had. Prices were about what I found everywhere else. Same with quality of product.

Great job by Bobby and company. AC went out on my RV and we needed a new unit badly. Bobby came in to work to ensure we got what we needed. Excellent service with a can do attitude.

Wording is everything. When the salesman said, "I'll throw that in," to me, it means you are getting it free. Later to be charged almost $2000. A $695.00 charge for the walk through. I was not told I'd be charged that. That should be a given as a curiosity. Got charged for a new battery because it was new and didn't come with one. That's how they received it without one. Again, hidden fees are not ok just to make a sale. On purpose, not explaining to me is considered fraud in my book. Nice people, but on purpose, not explaining charges is not a good practice. Check the paper before you sign several times. Don't be afraid to negotiate for what is right.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, sales team was awesome I had no issues. Finance lead was rude and disrespectful, claiming he wasn't making any money off my deal, and don't know why the company wanted my trade. Billy tried to have me sign a payment that was $50 higher then original payment talked about, then proceeded to question me on why I didn't want a warranty or any extra coverage, finally giving me the paper with the agreed upon price, frankly it wasn't any of your business what I decided. When I saw the trailer the week before it had 3 AC units on it, I believe they pulled the 3rd AC off the trailer, it wasn't there when I came to pick up the trailer but there is a brand new skylight with fresh silicon on the roofing. Once at the campsite after leaving the dealer, noticed the waste black water valve was pulled on the camper, I was trying to connect the sewer hose to it, removed the cap and about 5 gallons of fecal matter spilled everywhere. the walk around guy at the dealer that had showed the camper features, pulled it while showing me all valves on the trailer. It was a mess and had to shower promptly. In the end we got our dream 5th wheel.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! We were lied to from the minute we set foot on the lot! All they care about is making a buck and DO NOT CARE about you or your family! They put us in a VERY dangerous situation and we were stranded ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN 100 degree weather with 3 children’s rn 2 dogs! though we purchased the roadside assistance, they did not send anyone to help us!We were promised that the RV would be completely cleaned from top to bottom before delivery. Unfortunately, it was not and I had to spend 2 days cleaning the unit before we could leave on our first trip. One of the large pull down shades was also broken upon inspection. We were told it would be fixed or replaced. It was not and is still broken. We weee told the missing grill would be replaced on the swing arm that attached to the Forest River Wildwood, allowing us to experience and use the full outdoor space and kitchen; however, we were given a cheap grill that does not fit the swing arm. It’s useless to us unless we purchase an outdoor table safe for grilling. The black tank was not cleaned, even though we were told it would be, so that was an unfortunate surprise when we started using the bathroom. We were also told the tires were safe and still viable; however, we had a blow out on the road back and had no help with Good Sams getting it repaired, even though we have extended coverage. A 3 hour trip with 3 kids and 2 dogs took us 10 hours and thank God we did not have a wreck on the road. All in all, we feel that we were told one thing and received another. The communication between sales, service and finance can be improved. If felt as if we were a cog in the sales quota wheel, verses a family taking a risk and doing something new, hoping to love RVing. We are a modest income family. It was financial stretch for us to purchase this RV; so far we feel that we made a HUGE in the purchase and in choosing to partner with your company. After our one and only trip, we are struggling with anxiety and now wonder if this is for us. Camping World could have done much better setting us up for success and fueling the love of camping and Camping World. It seem like your business depends on the above sentence? We have a bitter taste for both.

Had bad experience at this place . Brought my trailer in which was under warranty chad told me it shouldn’t take longer the 30 days . Well It took 4 months I had to cancel trips that cost me lots of money plus unhappy family. You know how bad it hurts when you plan this awesome trip and then have to cancel everything because the trailer is not ready . We was nice to we told them after we new we wouldn’t be getting are trailer back any time soon to go ahead fix what needs to be fix. We didn’t argue we didn’t get mad. But now that the trailer is ready they want to charge me $111 dollars ??♀️ wait you had my trailer for almost half a year I lost money couldn’t go anywhere this summer and you want money . Then talking to the manger Robert he has no time to deal with me because he Is going thru a divorce . Wow this is how you treat your customers. I shouldn’t have to pay anything . So find somewhere else .

Camping World of Sherman was wonderful to us. We are camping about 20 minutes away from this dealership and 5.5 hours away from home and got locked out of our camper, Bobby Lewis sent out Derrick to unlock our camper at no charge! Highly recommend doing business with Camping World of Sherman!
