There are so many Dollar generals in Sherman and some are good and some are bad it just depends on the one which one you go to the one on 1417 that is not south of 56 is the best one I've been in the one over on sunset is dirty and nasty and I won't step foot in that one so it just depends on who the manager of the store is. I work for Dollar general in the past not a great company to work for that much I can tell you

Sherman store is always clean neat and organized that is the only dollar general I go to..1417 in Sherman great staff...I live in lewisville and our dollar generas are always full of boxes in the isles and ask the staff any questions is always an aggravation.

This store had been a wreck for at least the last5-7years. Once they get someone who says they are going to do something about it, within a week or so poof they're gone. Quit or fired or whatever. But the store is really a mess. Some try to get it in shape,but other people that work there are just plain lazy. Sorry to say. I hate going in there,but it's the closest one to where I live.

Love this store that is within walking distance from my apt. Well stocked with an enormous variety of goods from clothes to groceries. I am in this shop several times a week and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Well organized, clean, friendly, helpful staff. Some things, food, mostly, are definitely bargains, some regular merchandise is not. But it is convenient!
