Ellis Auto in Sherman is hands-down the best auto repair shop I’ve worked with. Justin Ellis is the reason I take all my vehicles there—he’s honest, knowledgeable, and actually takes the time to explain what’s going on without trying to upsell anything. It’s hard to find an auto repair shop you can really trust, but this is it. If you’re in Sherman and need reliable car repairs, Ellis Auto is where you want to go.

Charged me $900+ to change out my radiator alone. The radiator was 200$. Then they Charged me for antifreeze and freon(we didn't even ask for freon and it was filled last month) antifreeze is understandable.

I have known these people for years and would have never dreamed that they would do me like this. I broke down on the way to work and had my truck towed to the shop... 4 days and almost 600... they still didn't have my truck fixed...I had to have it towed to another shop. So glad that I did. I feel like they took advantage of a 65 yr old woman. I am not done with this one.

Ellis Auto looked like a well run shop. I only went for an inspection sticker and they were efficient and professional. I will remember Ellis Auto if I encounter auto problems.

If I could give this business a NEGATIVE star rating I would. We took our car which we had just purchased 2 days earlier and was in pristine condition to get a knock sensor replaced they had us bring it in the evening before they were going to do the repairs, when we went to pick up the car there were 2 chips in the paint that were all the way down to the primer . When we brought it to their attention they said they hadn't done it. They said it was there when we brought the car in but we had shown the car to our neighbors before taking it in and it was not there. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST AND I WARN ANYBODY THAT HAS A NICE THEY TAKE PRIDE IN DO NOT USE THESE LYING PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO REGARD FOR YOUR PROPERTY AND ARE THE MOST DISHONEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. BEWARE!!

Place was strongly recommended by a friend, all I needed on this day was Safety Inspection for my vehicle... Shop is busy with very knowledgeable & friendly techs, will probably come here for any future repairs when needed.

The WORST...This is my 2nd car I've taken here that ended up with more issues after I left. 1st car had to be towed 4 lights away that was $150, then another $150 for diagnostic when I told you what was wrong. After my alternator was fixed some how I ended up with a Crack in my fuel tank, stayed smelling gas the day I got it back home. Now my 2nd car was brought in for fuel pump. How do you take something apart and don't put it back together? Fuel pump in place, then I was the alternator and battery, then yesterday after the New battery was brought to the shop, Now they're are No lights, turn signal on the dash, No A/C or radio. But you called me to come pick up my car today. The last guy gave me my keys and left us there in front of the shop. Got into the car, back seat is not put together from when the fuel pump was installed. The car didn't even start, after 5 attempts then we couldn't get it to change gears. Finally was able to get it home and almost $1300 on just this one car. Just to get to looking and there's blown fuses. So here's what I think, the tech yesterday said there was no lights or turn signals working. The tech today said there's nothing wrong. So either some one is lying or you have people that half ass do their jobs. Then I tried to call the guy who locked up the shop and text, of course he didn't answer. WTH... Oh let's not forget that I looked up the prices for the parts needed and they're way cheaper than what you charged me, like $70+ cheaper... SAVE your money, Skip this place

Worst crooks ever. Took my car and said it was water pump. Thought my car was fixed. Then they messed up my coils, they replaced some coils my fiance even had to replace a coil. Drove it off and less than a mile, my car over heated again. This happened twice leaving the place. Then happened 3rd time. Took it back. The only honest guy was this young guy he said it was a fan relay. He said to pick up my car. Came to pick it up and they ended up saying it was a blown head gasket. I think they put the honest guy to lie as well. I'm not stupid, I know my car didn't have a blown head gasket. My car ran smooth. I know what it feels like to have a blown head gasket. I wasn't going to let them touch my car again. I picked up my car and took it to D Tech. The master technician said it was my fan and that there was nothing wrong with my engine. Spent so much money with the crooks and they wanted to charge me an extra $2600. D Tech fixed what they messed up like they loosened my power steering belt. Ellis auto is a nightmare. Beware. Thank God D Tech was recommended to me. DTech is honest. Go to D Tech. STAY AWAY FROM ELLIS AUTO!!
