Guardian provided care in our home for my father in his final days. Our goal was to make his passing as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Guardian provided us with the information, equipment and support we needed to do this. Every team member was kind and compassionate. They provided everything we needed the same day that we asked for it. We are not in the health care field so we needed lots of guidance. They were amazing partners in providing the care the care my father needed to pass peacefully at home. I will be forever thankful.

There is no star option to pick, and I am giving one star for the Speech therapist, otherwise they don't deserve any ratings. As an RN with many years of experience, now being on this side as a receiver of care, I won't recommend them to anyone.

My mom was kept very comfortable in her final days. We SO appreciated Denise, Erin, Amy, Kim, Lisa, Taryn, Aaron and several others, as well as the behind the scenes folks (office staff, on-call, physicians, DME and RX providers) for their quick response, care and concern. We highly recommend your service! Thanks again for going above and beyond!

Worst home healthcare I've ever seen! Will never recommend this place and definitely won't use them again.

Guardian Healthcare in San Antonio, is located on Loop 410 and is run by a Bus. Mgr., Al Rodriguez, that only has experience in Marketing. He has no knowledge of Nursing, can't run the office anywhere except into the ground and has horrible people skills. I was hired for a FT position, but he stated after hire that I was just PRN.... which is part-time and he pocketed the pay I should have gotten. I was taken off the schedule and pulled into the office for a meeting where he said CNA's are basically nothing and Patients that need more than one or two CNA visits a week belong on Hospice. Little did he know that I recorded that entire conversation. Once released, I'd only gotten about four out of eleven patients back and they began bullying me to quit. Haha.... they're so far from being organized and the worst company that treat Patients, as well as Employees, like garbage. They're lucky I had to put at least one star for review. They aren't even worth that. They claim FT at $17/hr plus mileage but it's all a scam. Don't fall for it or let your family members become associated with their nonsense.

I have never been so disappointed in a home health care business as I am with Guardian. Both of my parents rely on their morning bathing needs from their CNA. When she doesn't show up, they're not bathed or dressed. They like this health care worker...when she's there, but neither she nor Guardian calls to let them know she will not be coming. No replacement ever comes! I come to my parents home at least five days a week, but I have mental health issues, and my time coming fluctuates. I would think twice before hiring this company to care for your love ones.
