If you are seeking to store your precious metals in the U.S. Texas Precious Metals Depository is absolutely the "go to firm". Like many silver stackers; I follow Andy Shectman, Peter Schiff, and Mike Maloney. They are all great leaders in the precious metals industry; yet when you want your valuables stored; you want "the best". With Texas Precious Metals there is no middle man. You are dealing with the vault staff directly. In terms of customer service talk to Johanna or Kris in customer service or Tori in shipping. They could not be more helpful. Decades ago Dr. Ken Blanchard wrote a book called "Raving Fans'. The thesis is when service is just so above and beyond what you expect you become a "Raving Fan" of that business. I am a Raving Fan of Texas Precious Metals Depository; check them out and you will be a raving fan also.

I have bought my precious metals from this location a couple of times and when they decided to create the depository I was thrilled to move my metals from where they are kept in New York to the beautiful and free state of Texas. Jeff and Chris have always been a pleasure to work with. They even took a picture of my metals for me. Now that is service! You can feel confident about having your metals stored here at TPMD.

I recently just sold some silver and could not have asked for a better experience. I was able to call and speak to a nice person to confirm the buyback. Because my metals were stored in the depository, I got confirmation of the withdrawal the same day and received payment the very next day.

Great Customer Service & good prices but...the items are poorly handled. I purchased four times from them (new silver coins and a new silver bar). 3 out of 4 times I received an item that came in a cracked plastic flip and was either scratched and/or had fingerprints on it. Very disappointing.

"We ship orders no later than three (3) business days from receipt of payment". Except when they get busy and then they allow themselves another week (or so) to ship.

Texas Precious Metals is the worst bullion dealer that I have ever bought silver from! I ordered 10 silver coins from them that came scratched, stained and dirty. Customer service ignored my original call and left me hanging for two months. Texas Precious Metals is also listed on the "Rip Off Report", dated 9/01/2015.

TPM's eBay store occasionally offers some really hot deals just over spot price, but (in my experience) generally has bullion priced at too much over spot for my tastes. (I'm a close point buyer -- I pay as close to spot as I can, bull market or bear.) The TPM bullion itself has a very high purity, though, and the designs are sharp, crisp, and -- while not downright gorgeous -- attractive enough. Fast shipping, honest pricing, and all around terrific customer service. I understand that Texas Precious Metals has a healthy working relationship with another Texas-based firm (Goldstar Trust) for those who need precious metal IRAs and remote storage. Five stars all around.
