Sunshine Resale Shop is a long-standing store where customers can find books, records, and tapes at excellent prices, with items like a bag of books and a shirt costing very little. Many find amazing items at the best prices they have ever seen. The workers are often described as sweet and helpful. However, there are significant concerns from a long-time customer. This includes witnessing a worker pocket cash, being falsely accused of removing a price sticker, and seeing workers talk down to or bully other customers and staff over pricing. There are reports of high-quality donated items, like crystal tableware or an instant pot, never making it to the sales floor, with boxes of donations left unseen. Some pricing is inconsistent, and items are sometimes sold without being checked for functionality. The shop may close earlier if the indoor temperature gets too high. While some continue to shop for the low prices, these experiences have led others to stop donating items to the shop.
Excellent nickel price on books, records & tapes! My kid got a bag full of books & a shirt for her dad for 76 cents total. Shop earlier in the day, as they may close earlier if the indoor temperature exceeds 80 degrees.
