I've lived in silsbee for about 20 years and I can say they have delivered my mail to the wrong house maybe 2 or 3 times in those 20 years. Most of the time my packages come a day early. I have a few arriving late right now but that's because of the massive flooding going on right now but overall there pretty good on my part.

We always have problems with them delivering our mail. :( and they dont answer the phone. It is very frustrating. For example delivering a baby mattress. The tracking shows they left a notice- they did not, and it also shows Receptacle Full/Item Oversized. Well yeah.. its a baby mattress. It's not going to fit in the mail box! Either bring it to the porch or set it by the box. This is not the first problem. This is one of many with Silsbee P.O.!

I don’t understand how a postal worker can not find an address. It’s on a big rock at the end of my house, on a light up sign by the mailbox and yet they can’t find or deliver to my address. I am expecting a package today 04/25/2026 and it’s 4:25 pm and no one will answer the phone either. The package keeps updating the time it’s supposed to be here.

First time going there because my near by town’s USPS don’t handle passport process.
I have tried to print it out at my house, but it didn’t print right Soni decided to drive there to get one.
They handed me a copy of passport allocation that was not straight…
So I went back and asked them if it’ll pass like this.
The lady’s response was “probably not”, then she proceeded to look at other printouts and told me they are all printed out that way.
I asked her to print one for me, her response was to print it out online.
I told her I have but it didn’t print out right that’s why I came here to get one.
She said she doesn’t know what to tell me and didn’t tell me she cannot print it out for me but that’s how “they” printed out.
I gave her the application back and left.
She was rude, not helpful at all for people’s needs. Wish they have helpful friendly person at the front to make anyone feel welcome.

I hadn't had much of a problem with usps until today. I have a huge 8x15 covered front porch but today when it's raining all day, my Mail lady decides to leave my expensive items mailed in a cardboard box on the steps to my porch. Along with all my regular mail. Instead of walking up one more step and putting my packages on my nice dry porch. Leaving my Mail in rain for at least 5 hours. I'm pissed.

They cannot seem to find my address, I have my address written on both sides of my mailbox and the post it sits on. Also on the front of the door and the inside. They claim they delivered my shipment from Houston Amazon to my mailbox, it was not, That was Saturday 23Nov2024 after 5pm... I called the office 25 times Monday, no one would answer, I'm on my 20th call today, still no answer. Does anyone actually work there???
I only gave them 3 stars cause they have found my rd occasionally
***Update I finally talked to live person , she had the carrier deliver my package Tues 26NOV the pkg would have never fit inside my mailbox, evidently, the carrier still had it.

Getting sick of my postal person dropping all my packages off at the wrong house. They need to read the mail carefully before dropping off. I have packages kept by this other address in the past and have to reorder. It's getting old

My mail box is very obvious to find I live in apartments and they do have parcel mailbox. I even gave them it's always a issue delivering my package from Amazon.

Awful, heartless branch. My mother is disabled, in a wheelchair. Once a year she has to wheel herself into the branch to request a delivery exemption, to have mail dropped on the porch instead of the mailbox across a busy road. The postmaster denied her exemption. She's not "disabled enough" to not have to wheel herself across that busy road to pick up her mail. Between that and the packages intentionally dropped into the mud (mere inches away from a perfectly good sidewalk), it is clear that this branch is full of bitter, malicious staff, right up to the very top. OIGUSPS needs to have a hard look at this branch.

I come to the post office (Silsbee, Texas) just to drop off a parcel. Well, I get here at 9:30 and they don’t open until 10:00. So I find the parcel drop off but it’s locked. So I go the mailbox outside and try the parcel opening but it’s been restricted to open just enough to put a letter in it. CAN I JUST DROP OFF A PARCEL TO BE MAILED ( WITH A PRE PAID LABEL)?

After dealing with other post offices,I'd say silsbee is not very good. I guess they can't keep good drivers. Some are decent and others just can't seem to find our box. For what postage costs ,they need to do better.

I am 74 and disabled. Since I moved here in 2020 I have had delivery problems. The post master came out and told me where to put my mailbox and looked to see that the mail delivery people had room to turn around, could access my mail box, is not over the allowed distance to put parcels on my porch. The mail delivery person was told to put parcels in my porch, which he told me he we oukd not do and doesnt. He puts my parcels and my mail in my neighbors parcel locker, which includes our social security mail. Also my packages arrive open with some things missing. I have called and complained to no avail. I see people in Silsbee asking if anyone got their mail or boxes. This is sad. It's gotten so bad that Amazon has now reported that they may have to stop deliveries to 77656...
