We had a very relaxing visit here with friends. Wsy out in the countryside away from everything. The owner is an amazing man. And he sat and visited with us. Sharing the ranches history, as well as his own. I so hope we get to go back and experience this gem again real soon.

Hauled in my horses for the weekend. Stalls were very nice, lots of shade. Pool available for an extra fee. RV hookups available, or just camp in a tent. The property is amazing, so much space to ride around for hours. If you bring your dog, make sure they won't chase the cattle, as this is a working ranch and you'll come across free roaming cattle along your ride. Definitely will be coming here again!

Miles and miles of beautiful and well maintained trails, from shady creekside trails to open pasture trails, water crossings, lakes and some good south Texas terrain. The facility, complete with hook-ups, stalls, and a pool make for the best camping around. The owner and staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful; they treat you like family. This ranch is steeped in history; visit and hear some great stories of this place that has been in the same family for many generations.

Drove 3 hours for expected great three day ride at Lazy F based on their website and reviews. Reserved weeks in advance RV site 7 for location and septic hookup. Upon arrival owner, Mr Allen, said day rider was parked in our site. He said we should just park somewhere else and move when that person came back but no idea when. Hooking up twice was not what we expected but he gave no other options. He had told me by phone previously that we would have to check out early on our third day because he had big group coming. Did not feel good that we would be inconvenienced on arrival and then expected to move out early on final day. Then we checked to see stalls as that was a great draw based on clean and well kept picture on their website. Found that all but two were completely filled with manure and old hay. Aisle was in same condition. When I asked Mr Allen, was advised I would need to clean myself as they did not do that. He explained that manure dries up and turns to dust so no need to clean. I suggested he check them out but he was not interested and did not go to that area. He said two stalls were reserved for his family and could not be used. Our fees for 3 days and 2 riders would have been $290. Just not a good situation so we did not stay. My advice is if you expect place to be like in pictures, check it out prior to going and see if there are improvements. Diesel is too expensive to waste and unfortunately that is what happened to us. Definitely not recommended for overnight stay. Sorry to even give 1 star rating as not earned

The upgrades were wonderful...bathhouse, cattle panels lining the stalls, and better footing on the wide roads leading to trail heads.

We had a great ladies camp and ride get-away at Lazy F last May. We enjoyed beautiful scenery and lovely trails. We finished the day with a swim in the pool and dinner on the patio. The covered corrals were in good condition and we were thankful our horses had them for the brief ran storm that blew in that evening. We are heading back this November and bringing the kids to ride and camp.

Spent this weekend with my husband here. Had a wonderful time, Mr Clay is so welcoming and made us feel right at home! The ranch is beautiful, the trails are amazing! Everything is so clean and well kept. Can’t wait to go back!

Bunk bed not comfortable but all else amazing! Clay and Betty provide a cute place with gorgeous pool, bath house and nice pens for our horses. We shall return soon!!
