I can’t thank Mando and his team enough for getting us out of a jam. We were traveling to our lease on Friday and our truck broke down 20 miles east of Sonora. We got towed into Mando’s shop around 4 pm. He quickly determined it was the alternator and ordered one in which would arrive Saturday. Mando came in on Saturday (when they are closed) to swap it out and install a new battery and had it ready by 9:00 am. He also loaned us a truck for Friday night so we could get to our destination. 1000% recommend this company!!!! They are great, friendly and professional!!!!

Had the unfortunate luck of loosing a transmission seal east of Sonora, but was able to limp it in to town. Once there I had the fortunate luck of finding Castilleja Auto Repair. Once they opened up, they were able to diagnose the problem. The next problem was finding the replacement seal. Luckily for me they have a deep source of contacts and were able to have one delivered that afternoon and get me back on the road. Took some time, but thanks to the dogged determination of the team, they showed me their dedication to the customer. The out the door price was fair to boot!

Traveling across the country and had mechanical issues and they didn't even have time to do a simple plug-in diagnostics to let me know if it was an ready fix or even if it was safe to continue on. Said it would be two weeks beforethey could even look at it. Can't wait that long. Had to go.

Stopped for the night in Sonoma camp ground started truck to go fuel up for next travel day (it's Sunday) truck said emmision service required 75 miles to 65mph max) Monday morning called Mundo could tell he didn't have time for me, but he prioritized me! That night truck running awesome ( wires had been cut?) next morning problem came back ( dang critter ate one of the replaced sensors again) he got me on the road by 1 pmwhat a guy awesome person awesome people working there

Castilleja Auto Repair saved the day!! We broke down while on a long distance trip, very far from home. Luckily we found Castilleja Auto Repair.. Thank God!Several (mechanics) came upto us at the gas station and offered to (fix) our truck which was smoking from the engine. We were told the truck needed everything from freezer plug repair to cracked manifold!! They wanted us to get our vehicle towed to them and said they would need to keep it for 7 days!! Beware of scammers in this town!Mando from Castilleja's immediately found the problem.. a simple fix of a heater house. He had it fixed in a matter of minutes with very fair prices. It's a family run business. Extremely nice, honest family. We were so impressed with this company that we decided to stay in town one more night to give them the opportunity to fix a few other things we had been putting off because we were so far from home.Thank you so much Mando, Elda and family!!

Fast, extremely helpful, and their parts & labor seemed reasonable. I hope to never need them again, but I'd recommend them to anyone in need. I got stuck on the side of the Hwy and gave them a call for repairs on my trailer. They were able to get me in contact with a tow truck faster than my road side assistance and then had everything ready to go once I arrived.

The owner Armando is a thief! We had an agreement (signed a contract on it) and he breached the contract and has been ignoring my calls, texts, and emails for months. I was forced to sue. STAY AWAY HE IS NOT HONEST.

I highly recommend these guys I was having car trouble headed back to San Antonio and luckily I broke down in front of their shop. They were able to help me diagnose it, fix it temporarily and get me back home.

Our truck broke down in the middle of nowhere, Catilleja were the first ones willing to look at it quickly, then correctly diagnosed the problem, then towed it to a dealer for us (because of an active recall on the part). Super helpful and nice the entire time.Service: Auto engine tuning
