I have to say that the first place that comes to mind for a place to tour is the Mixon Museum. There are many antiques from several wars and simple civilian living over at least 100 yr period. More excitingly though are the articles taken from movies such as Men In Black(the huge 10 legged alien). These articles are from my understanding the sons of the Mixon family that work in Hollywood. There are also some autographed pictures from several stars. I'm not real good with names but I'm sure someone who enjoys movie articles, antiques, war memorabilia or classic cars would enjoy this small but interesting and educational museum. I'm 28 yrs old and I did. It is located across the street from the War Memorial and the South Houston Police Department on Virginia street.
