First time here! I’ve been looking for an indoor skate park. The shop has a lot of good finds. Everyone is nice and supportive. 10/10 would recommend.

On the outside it is almost a provisional construction, with nothing more than sheets, beams and some structural elements without any pretension. But inside, the adrenaline flows from the top of the slope to the bottom of the ford; speed increases as the body pushes down and up with increasingly faster cycles; Suddenly, the wheels lift off the ground and the body makes a doozy of a spin; The tires touch the ground again halfway between the top and the bottom of the ravine to go up again but at double the speed and everyone follows the skater with their eyes. He reaches the end of the steep climb and continues rising. a little more, a little more until the body twists on itself until it completes a 360 degree turn on the way downand the legs unfold just before hitting the hard surface, the tires softly touching the polished floor almost without making a sound. “Bravo… well done!” is heard, while someone applauds. What this individual has achieved is not the work of chance, but of discipline, many repetitions that have most often ended with some minor bumps and scrapes, which have irritated the skin, sometimes even causing bleeding and some what another scab.Scrapes or bruises again and again, with the proper protection they take out of theproblem. Until one blessed day… Wow, it came out! Exact. Perfect!THAT'S HOW IT IS! Very exciting, the problem is when you feel that Gravity is not a joke and that you ARE NOT RUBBER.Also when you start to feel that this vibration is not normal and that you are about to lose a wheel or a piece of your board and you find yourself at a height of almost two meters, semi-suspended in the air, and you know that after this fall you will probably You or your parents will have to buy a new board or a pair of skates, along with the hospital bill... It is right there, there, that excitement can transform into, at the very least, disappointment or, even worse, to For the next 6 weeks you will have to be helped even in the toilet…So carry everything you can wear so that the only thing that breaks is your dignity and not some bone. Okay?Come on!510 Iowa St. South Houston, Tx. 775872:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Awesome indoor skatepark. You can purchase a lifetime membership which is worth it to support the business. Everyone that works there - all super friendly. My son loves this place. Only downside is the industry around it stinks like something toxic.....doesn't really lend to taking a walk while my teen is skating, but otherwise highly recommend.

I take my son here. He's only 8.Everyone is nice and helpful, even the people that don't work there. Other people skating give him advice and are supportive. It's a lot of fun for 5 bucks.

This is my first time here with #teamskateaholics and its a pretty good spot. Upbeat skate vibes for the first visit. Their skate shop had a nice selection of skateboard shoes and the selection of skate tools, grip tape and accessories was.great. Def a place to come back to. $10/day open 7 days a week. Bring a place like this to Austin...

You won’t find a better skate shop.Eric, the owner is fantastic. Go and see him!He helped a very, old school Skater pick out my first board in 30 years… and made the process so much fun.He also guided my Daughter in her choice of her first board. Can’t rate these Guys highly enough.

Houston’s premiere indoor skate park going on 30 years! I’ve bought so many decks and broken my will so many times here.Great hip bowl with a transfer to a smaller bowl.Street park is legit with a manual pad, couple fun boxes and a nice speed ramp on the end.

Cool store with skate merch. I like that they change the skatepark pretty much every year. Great course for beginners. The bowls are pretty sick too. The management is very helpful and I think they even offer skate lessons. Support local skate shops.

Clean, great ramps, two isolated pools, and indoor! We love going here -- not only on rainy afternoons, but pretty much anytime we’re in the area. There’s something for all levels of skaters here - the concrete is smooth (not too slick) and the ramps are smooth wood. Some of the obstacles are moveable, which is a nice touch. The skateshop (one of the BEST in Houston) is attached to the park and they have patient and knowledgeable staff. The park can feel crowded at times - but all the skaters I’ve met have been respectful. The people at Southside do a great job of maintenance and upkeep to the place. Very recommended!

This is as my first indoor skatepark and it is wonderful. BTW, I’m an aggressive inline skater. Both bowls they got I love for different reasons, one being fairly mellow, you’re basically never above vert going up the sides, they like flare out. Helps me feel safe enough to try harder tricks I don’t typically try on coping. The other one is surrounded by pool coping but it’s deeper, much more vert.Outside of the bowls, so many more obstacles, without getting creative with it.
