AMAZING SERVICE!!! I moved to the area about a year ago and I’ve been looking for a new hairstylist and boy did I find the one!! Brenda did my hair exactly how I wanted. I gave her reference photos to go off of and she killed it! She does amazing work and I will be back! Felt very comfortable in her salon and in her care. Thank you so so much Brenda!

As I was looking for a place to spend some quality mommy-daughter time getting our nails done, I came across Nails by Brenda. Upon walking in, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful ambiance of the salon. My daughter chose a vibrant yellow for her nails, while I opted for classic French tips. The experience was delightful, as the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, almost as if we had known them for years. My daughter can't stop talking about how much she loves her nails. We have found our new go-to nail salon at SPI, and we will definitely be returning.

I'm in town for a while and needed my nails redone. Brenda did an excellent job and told her I'd love some designs on 2 of my nails. Told her to surprise me. She did not disappoint. I'll need another fill before I leave town and plan on returning.
I suggest making an appointment if you need anything done as she just moved to a new location and her new location is beautiful and she's going to be hiring staff to help. She is popular for sure.

Made an appointment for 9am. Came in for me and my two daughters to get acrylics and pedi. I asked for white acrylics, the powder turned them somewhat yellow (very obviously) so I asked if they could just put a shellac white coat and since we were doing that add some sparkles to one nail on each hand. She had an assistant do that part and they did not know how to do it properly it looked like a crazy blob and bc she kept having to put my hand back under the UV the shellac also turned very very yellow, it was like burnt I guess, I asked if they could fix this. They both agreed it was yellow and gave me a few explanations for what causes that and agreed the glitter was done incorrectly. Though she blamed me for the glitter being done incorrectly stating that I asked for it too late in the procedure for it to be done correctly. Okay… say that then before you do it. I mean right? Anyways 9am-1pm for 3 people. We were the only people in there for all but an hour of that time. Frustrated and still one kid without nails even done I asked if she could just not charge for my messed up set and I’ll just live with it. She accused me of trying to get something for free and threatened to call the cops. At that point things got heated between us, she accused me of things and I let a few f-bombs fly and then her solution was to take my nails off. Very crazy upsetting process. It was painful she was rough, and I honestly just wanted to cry. She charged me $170 dollars which I didn’t even bother to argue with her about, however she couldn’t get her Apple Pay to work or something so we had to deal with that whole process all the while pestering me and my older child for an ID to prove who we were to pay or something? Never had to produce an ID or be treated like I wasn’t going to pay with an Apple Pay business. She also nastily said she’s not scared of a bad review as I was taking pics of my nails to explain to my husband what was going on, I debated wether or not to poke this hornets nest but after reading other reviews here and how she treated me and acting like I wasn’t good for the payment and threatening to call the police and blaming me for not being happy with her defective powder I’m just over it. My husband is an Excutive and we moved here for work. I will definitely be telling everyone on that project at the port not to send their wives to this salon. 4th of July ruined by hours trapped in this place and my nails ruined. Sad deal. A little bottle of customer service could have prevented this escalation. Worth noting another customer was in there having a similar experience and several reviews here stating the same things I dealt with. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else and tip them really good if they do a great job bc THAT would have been worth a lot to me right now. Probably would have tipped $80 for 3 people had we had a good time. I usually do $10 per service (toes, nails)

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had ar Brenda 's! She listened to everything I said & did exactly what I wanted. She touched up my roots, thinned & trimmed my hair. I also had her wax my upper lip & cleaned up my eyebrows. I was more than pleased & the next time I'm here I will go to Brenda!

She saw me on an emergency ! I needed shorter nails because my granddaughter arrived early. So skilled, so nice and ready for the holidays. There is no better nail person on SPI. I have acrylics and they were not an issue !

I want to thank Brenda for all her kind words and doing a wonderful job fixing a cut I got at different salon in Port Isabel. She was honest about having to go shorter but she made it look good!! She was very professional. I appreciate her fitting me in on a Friday.

I was in town for the week and didn't have time to get my toes done before I got to SPI. I Googled to find a place and was very impressed with the place. Cute, clean, and the ladies were friendly. However, it was the most expensive pedicure I ever had, but I expected it because I was I was in SPI. The average gel pedicure in OKC is $45-$55. I spent $75 at Brenda's.

If your hours say you open at 10, then you should be open. I got there at 1026 and it was closed. This could be why I was told go off the island for a haircut.
