Island Market is a great convenience and general store in South Padre, open until midnight. It is very clean and organized, with a large variety of everything you need. This includes food, drinks, beach items, fishing supplies, pharmacy items, fresh empanadas, and instant foods. The store is known for its unbelievable fresh meat market with high-quality cuts. It has its own knowledgeable butcher offering a super great selection of ribeye steaks, tenderloins, ground beef, and chicken from naturally fed animals. The price and quality are excellent. The employees are incredibly friendly and helpful, providing outstanding hospitality. It is a highly recommended go-to spot.
Went here recently with a group of friends on a road trip, the convenience store has just about everything you need to eat or wear to the beach. It was a fun time looking around and picking items up for being in the water.
