Loved the gentleman softly playing the guitar. Especially enjoyed taking my 10 yr old daughter with us. We played w/ their tictac toe while we ate and enjoyed our family time.

Milos Coffee House
5009 Padre Blvd Unit 04, South Padre IslandHad an awesome experience while visiting South Padre Island. The coffee was excellent, but what really stood out was the hospitality. The owner took the time to chat with me and my family, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in.
I'm usually the type of person who sticks to what I know and rarely try new drinks, but he encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and try one of their specialty drinks. I'm glad I did because it ended up being one of the best coffee drinks I've had in a long time.
While we were waiting, they invited us to check out their game room, which was a really cool surprise. They had a bunch of classic arcade and old-school games, along with plenty of toys for my little girls to play with. It made the experience even more enjoyable and kept the whole family entertained.
Great coffee, great atmosphere, and even better people. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home. We'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in South Padre Island. Highly recommend!

Upper Deck Hotel & Bar
120 E Atol St, South Padre IslandI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Upper Deck. Every single person that works there was nice, responsive and polite. I could not have asked for a better experience. This place is comfortable. Easiest way to say it. It is not the Ritz but, it is very welcoming. My room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the sheets were clean and the air conditioning worked beautifully. I cannot say enough about the bar\\kitchen staff. I was greeted on a first name basis with everyone, even before I had a chance to introduce myself. I will 100% recommend and stay at Upper Deck again. Staff was amazing! Food was great! The price is right! Special shout out to Marg and Cricket. Prepare yourselves, I will be back!!

5200 Padre Blvd Suite 101, South Padre IslandOur AirBnB was only about 1/2 mile from Karma and Milos so we tried both. My husband like Karma more than Milos. This coffee shop is definitely more of a commercialized coffee shop rather than mom and pop. It was clean and the food looked really good.

Large boiled shrimp entree was excellent and my main meal of fried fish & oysters was outstanding.
Robert, the bartender, made a superior margarita.
Parking was tight but well worth the trip.
Visted during our last evening on the island.
Next visit to island will find me heading to Cafe on the Beach before check-in at the condo.

We live here on the Island and I was beside myself with worry, and she truly lives up to her name. Her empathy, compassion, and consideration is why we support Friends of Animal Rescue so vehemently. Thank you for your kindness and understanding!! 10/10 would recommend, and give that young lady a raise!!
