They wouldn't let me deposit my check, honestly felt discriminated against because they couldn't believe a young Hispanic entrepreneur could deposit the amount I was going too. This isn't the first time.

PNC IS A SCAM. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! David is a great rep, the only reason this location gets a 3 star. David, you should switch banks too!

We lost our house because of Mike Wagner's incompetence. After he sent the prequalification letter, we made an offer for a home and the home was contingent on the loan process. During those 10 days, Mike refused to properly communicate with my real estate or the seller's agent. He barely ever spoke with me and refused to give any updates about the process. I had alerted his manager who simply did not respond. We had found the perfect home but we unfortunately had an utterly incompetent Mortgage lender.

If you are coming to BBVA Compass for a mortgage, find another lender. I dealt with the "leading" specialty lender in Texas out of BBVA's Southlake office. His resume is very impressive and all of his reviews online seemed really great. His team offers great mortgage options for professionals, and I did get a very good rate and he was very easy to work with at the beginning. However, towards the end of my house buying campaign, BBVA's team went off the deep end. My real estate agent and title company described them as one of the worst lenders they have ever worked with. This guy goes on a week's vacation, and in that time, not he nor anyone in his team decided to move my file along so that I could close on time. Because of this, I missed our first closing deadline, as the final approval had not been given. I had provided all requested underwriting docs almost a month prior to missing the first closing deadline. The lender called me and personally apologized, and said he would get it done for the rescheduled closing that was in four days. In that four days, I did not receive one email or call saying that anything was wrong. It was actually my title company that indicated that they couldn't get a hold of anyone at BBVA and that they had not received final closing documents. I spend ALL day, while I was supposed to be at work, calling and emailing his team to try to get some type of information. My wife even went to his office in Southlake to try to talk to him, and he just ignored her. The only time he talked to her was to tell her that he was no longer our BBVA rep--THE DAY BEFORE THE RESCHEDULED CLOSING. If it wasn't for Jason Steward, in the Alabama processing office, I doubt we would've closed. The ineptitude of this lending team was astounding. I cannot wait to refinance so that I never have to work with BBVA again.

I came into the branch on 2/16 and worked with Jonathan Forrester & Karen Navarro. Both associates were not only friendly, and efficient, but helped me learn more about the bbva app on my phone. They helped me set up different alerts and showed me different features. It is not often enough these days that you get customer service that goes above and beyond. I am very grateful for their help. They put a smile on my face and made a long week a whole lot better.

Frustrating experience over a period of time with this branch. They are very eager to sell additional services but when they made a mistake and owed us a refund they refused and took 3 weeks of dodging phone calls and promising to look into it before declining to assist us. We are a business and have been with Compass for 13 years and see now there is no concern for a client of any size. Moving our business ASAP.

I have been in the Real Estate business for over 17 years and I never ever write references on colleagues but with my horrific experience with the loan officer and his team I can't not write a review. In our real estate transaction I was the listing agent. Our transaction was the absolute worst experience ever. All parties (Seller/Buyer/selling agent/escrow/title) all agree and we have all discussed how horrific our experience was at our final walk thru. It was literally a bag session on the loan officer and his team. The poor buyer was so frustrated when we had a conference call he was screaming at the loan officer. At the time of being 2 weeks late we requested a conference call to discuss what the status was and to try and get any info out of the loan officer we could since no one was willing to help us on the team. The loan officer knew we were having a conference call and he knew nothing about the status of the file or if the conditions have been met or not. He knew nothing. In my opinion his assistant was rude, unprofessional and just really had no care in the world to be of any assistance at all. We would beg for updates and we would just get no response. The buyer had to constantly resend the same documentation in over and over again because so many people were touching the file they didn't know who did what. It was just a horrific experience. I won't say any names of the people other than the 1 person who was the one and only person that was helpful to me. Her name was Ericka and she was not out of the Texas location I believe she was on the east coast. I wouldn't get a response right away but she was the only one I felt tried or cared to be helpful. There was a 1st and 2nd loan on this file. All of my complaints and frustrations were in regards to the 1st lien not the 2nd. The 2nd was quick and helpful and would respond. If you are thinking about using the financing from this organization I would highly do your research first as I would never ever want someone to go through what we all went through. It was the worst experience ever.
