This is a great hiking spot with mostly quiet surroundings. I'm going to come back again and check out some other trails.

Lovely, natural preserve with trails. Hope it stays in tact and remains a protected refuge.

The Bob Jones Nature Preserve is the ultimate hiking place where you will get to experience long, beautiful nature trails with an abundance of big trees, as well as stumbling upon Grapevine Lake itself while you are on your hikes.Near the nature center and the western end of the preserve, you will on occasion get to see deer roaming around, especially during the spring and summer. There is also a botanical garden beside the nature center. For those who love horses, you can actually see them grazing by behind the rails across the parking lot.You will enjoy this gem of a place if you love nature!

Absolutely loved this hike! There was a cool tree swing at about halfway through. Horses and pets are allowed on the trail. So, if piles of poo in the middle of the trail are not your thing, this is not the trail for you. As for me and my husband, we had a super fun hike!

A great place to hike and get in touch in with nature. The sounds of the highway are non existent the further you hike towards the lake. The hikes are relatively easy and flat. When it's wet it can get very muddy. Do enjoy! You find various signs of deer, hogs, and birds. PSA. If you see trash let's clean it. We went with the scouts and picked up trash to keep this place beautiful.

One of the best nature centers we've been to. My son had a birthday here 5 years ago and it was a blast. Beautiful hiking trails.

Nice property in an over the top neighborhood. Developers probably toss abd turn in their sleep agonizing over how to acquire and pave over this nice little patch of prairie. Should be a sign to direct you to the portopotty hidden behind a fence. Doesn't tell you the nature center field house isn't open unless there is a group there. Good for a walk with the kids.

A hidden gem! Beautiful park, loved the trails.. loved being rewarded with an awesome lake view. The terrain switches - loose sand, compact sand, red sand, etc. Went in December - not much for flowers or greenery, but was around 73 degrees..but no one else was at the park on Tuesday, 12-14-21. Can't wait to try new trails, and bring friends. We went on the bluebird trail..then continued onto the lake (we just followed signs that said - Lake that way..etc.) didn't know exactly where to go :)
